To everyone who joined these forums at some point, and got discouraged by the negativity and left after a while (or even got literally scared off): I'm sorry.

I wasn't good enough at encouraging people to be kinder, and removing people who refuse to be kind. Encouraging people is hard, and removing people creates conflict, and I hate conflict... so that's why I wasn't better at it.

I was a very, very sensitive teen. The atmosphere of this forum as it is now, if it had existed in 1996, would probably have upset me far more than it would have helped.

I can handle quite a lot of negativity and even abuse now, but that isn't the point. I want to help people. I want to help the people who need it the most, and I want to help people like the 1996 version of me.

I'm still figuring out the best way to do that, but as it is now, these forums are doing more harm than good, and I can't keep running them.

Thank you to the few people who have tried to understand my point of view so far. I really, really appreciate you guys. You are beautiful people.

Everyone else: If after everything I've said so far, you still don't understand my motivations, I think it's unlikely that you will. We're just too different. Maybe someday in the future it might make sense, but until then, there's no point in arguing about it. I don't have the time or the energy for arguing anymore. I will focus my time and energy on people who support me, and those who need help.

First one creeps me out at first... And I don't think it's gonna get better. Wait... The voice is nice, the instrumentals have a nice vibe to them... Nice? Might be a bit to gimmicky for me, but the cover art is interesting.

Second one... ooooooooh, spacey... Holy shit this is a banger. That bass line is killer. I can dig it, it's a nice throwback to the 80's sort of thing.

Third one... That repetitive bass line is great, plus the Eastern European folk vibes are always a plus, but I'm not sure if I can get used to the vocals. Can't say that I dig it, but I wouldn't be surprised if I was all about these guys a few months from now.

Holy shit mellow guitar mixed with weird noises? I'm totally down with this, I immediately tried to follow her on spotify but she isn't on there.

Second one... Nylon strings, gravelly voice, again this is quite my thing. I feel like we've ended up in somewhat similar territory when it comes to music taste now.. This is great, but I need to move on to the next song now aaaaagh.

first one, i like those queer psycho vocals she's got going on at the start but when that electronic music comes in and she starts singing all dark in line with the music it becomes, like, edgy electro industrial or some shit that, while i enjoy, i've heard it to death. i do like those moments when she goes back to being nuts. gimme more like this.

this second one is interesting. the bass-centric music isn't something i'm used to at all but i kinda dig it. i liked the vocals immediately and it's very queer to see someone do such a style live or whatever. gonna look into this shit more.
