yep i think i heard they were illegal somewhere. i know someone who walked out of school during lunch (Denny's had this free grand slam thing during school hours) and she got 3 days AC [had to stay after for 3 extra hours] because the security camera's caught her leaving the building.

I had about 9 unexcused absences and I got a letter from a truancy officer threatening to send me to juvie. If you plan a walkout, you will definately need lots of kids to agree. The government can easily take away one, but if you had a large group of rebellious kids, the government school system will have a major problem on it's hands. All I'm saying is don't do it alone.

If thousands upon thousands of children were to walkout of public school, the government is going to show constant tv commercials using crying children as props so they can get more tax money(or stolen money depends on how you want to word it) to pay for schools. However, I believe if today's government education system was to collapse for good, our government would be overthrown within a generation. Children will start thinking again and they won't tolerate the system we have today. If our education system was to still exist in about 50 years. America will be a combination of Nazi Germany and the U.S.S.R. Don't worry though, people and especially children are waking up. The shit will hit the fan soon.

I'm pretty sure the american public, as stupid as everyone thinks they are, are smart enough to know a strike when they see one. If we do a mass walkout and state, on the record, to the news interviewers that we want change and explain our point of view, everyone would realize that funding isn't the issue.
