To everyone who joined these forums at some point, and got discouraged by the negativity and left after a while (or even got literally scared off): I'm sorry.
I wasn't good enough at encouraging people to be kinder, and removing people who refuse to be kind. Encouraging people is hard, and removing people creates conflict, and I hate conflict... so that's why I wasn't better at it.
I was a very, very sensitive teen. The atmosphere of this forum as it is now, if it had existed in 1996, would probably have upset me far more than it would have helped.
I can handle quite a lot of negativity and even abuse now, but that isn't the point. I want to help people. I want to help the people who need it the most, and I want to help people like the 1996 version of me.
I'm still figuring out the best way to do that, but as it is now, these forums are doing more harm than good, and I can't keep running them.
Thank you to the few people who have tried to understand my point of view so far. I really, really appreciate you guys. You are beautiful people.
Everyone else: If after everything I've said so far, you still don't understand my motivations, I think it's unlikely that you will. We're just too different. Maybe someday in the future it might make sense, but until then, there's no point in arguing about it. I don't have the time or the energy for arguing anymore. I will focus my time and energy on people who support me, and those who need help.

Being straight doesn't necessarily mean you won't ever fall in love with someone of the same gender. I know two straight, bi-romantic guys who've fallen for each other. Love manifests itself in different ways, not always sexual.

Oh, fuck it, I got time to explain. Asexuals are not sexually attracted to other people, however, that does not prevent them from loving others in a romantic way. They often identify themselves as hetero-romantic, homo-romantic, ect. It also works for sexuals. I've found several people who identify as straight but bi- or pan-romantic. You don't need to have sex with someone to love them. Sex isn't that important to me. While I'm pansexual, if I never had sex with my girlfriend, it wouldn't bother me because I still love her. Sex and love are separate things for me.

Wrong. It only indicates that he admires the form and nothing else. A real indicator is when a person is actually sexually attracted to the point where he is willing to do it. A lot of sexuals gets disgusted by genitalia and still do sex regardless. Also, orientation isn't as simple as what you admire the most. There's 3 orientations which may not even be the same which is sexual,romantic, and ideal where ideal can get dismissed.
Asexuals can love porn due to the stimulus being retrieved by the individuals they're watching, but not attracted to the idea of having sex itself. It sort of enjoying the idea of a fantasy while not wanting to participate in it and retrieving a physiological response related to it.
Also, there are cases of individuals who have absolutely no problem admitting who looks good and even have sex despite going against their own orientation. A lot to keep in mind.

Nah, I'm not much into forums anymore, or social networking in general. I find too many people that piss me off. I'm pretty much sticking to certain branches of the Brony community that I know are generally reasonable. If that passes, then I'm out of the game completely except for the few friends I've already made.
