RIP School Survival Forums
August 2001 - June 2017

The School Survival Forums are permanently retired. If you need help with quitting school, unsupportive parents or anything else, there is a list of resources on the Help Page.

If you want to write about your experiences in school, you can write on our blog.

To everyone who joined these forums at some point, and got discouraged by the negativity and left after a while (or even got literally scared off): I'm sorry.

I wasn't good enough at encouraging people to be kinder, and removing people who refuse to be kind. Encouraging people is hard, and removing people creates conflict, and I hate conflict... so that's why I wasn't better at it.

I was a very, very sensitive teen. The atmosphere of this forum as it is now, if it had existed in 1996, would probably have upset me far more than it would have helped.

I can handle quite a lot of negativity and even abuse now, but that isn't the point. I want to help people. I want to help the people who need it the most, and I want to help people like the 1996 version of me.

I'm still figuring out the best way to do that, but as it is now, these forums are doing more harm than good, and I can't keep running them.

Thank you to the few people who have tried to understand my point of view so far. I really, really appreciate you guys. You are beautiful people.

Everyone else: If after everything I've said so far, you still don't understand my motivations, I think it's unlikely that you will. We're just too different. Maybe someday in the future it might make sense, but until then, there's no point in arguing about it. I don't have the time or the energy for arguing anymore. I will focus my time and energy on people who support me, and those who need help.

-SoulRiser

The forums are mostly read-only and are in a maintenance/testing phase, before being permanently archived. Please use this time to get the contact details of people you'd like to keep in touch with. My contact details are here.

Please do not make a mirror copy of the forums in their current state - things will still change, and some people have requested to be able to edit or delete some of their personal info.

Not really interested into going more into this topic. Sorry!

Controversial opinion of mine:

I think if people were raised sexual open people would be willing to have sexual activity with those not in their attractions simply for pleasure and friendship. Attraction, to me, imply being romantic with the object of ones attraction more so than just sexual.

Because homo's don't feel threatened by societies prejudices once they come out, and because they understand what it's like to be shunned by society for loving someone they "shouldn't", they support them. Well not all, but the ones I'm talking about.

That's another reason why are you enemy of humanity. Not only you are doing something wrong, but you are supporting someone who is actually EVEN MORE perverted (rapists, pedos?) than you.

Dafuq, you sure know what OTHERS and MOST think.
Anyways, what is the definition of wrong? It's all set by society, there's no wrong or right, it's all about if you do it like everyone else or you do it like you want.

Wait, what? I don't support rapists...
Pedos..eh. It's not really "pedo" by having sex with a 16 year old girl.
Is an 18 year old a pedo for fucking a 16 year old? Who the fuck cares. As long as she's not under like 12-13, I don't give a shit.
I don't care if I'm an enemy of humanity. I help people everyday, I don't harm anyone, I'm a calm person, I'm friendly and support the freedom of others. Sometimes I take a chunk out of my time just to help someone.
So think what you want.

Well, I admit that was a bit of an overstatement. But I have to admit, homosexual and bisexual people are more open to life than most people. Because they know what it's like to be "disliked" by society. That should clear things up.

I met a 26 year old security guard who has fucked 15 year old girls. Is that bad? No, those girls go out looking like whores, they are expected to get fucked.
Lets use your logic then. What do you think of an 18 year old woman, with an 80 year old man. That's wrong? But surely this cannot be because it's legal.

Efs, that is gross and immoral, but that is not pedophilia. Pedophilia is attraction to prepubescent people. The more correct word for this is ebepophilia (or whatever it was spelled) - attraction to young adults [from old people]

Then 100% of old people are ebeeepopifffssdgsgwheteverphiliaics. Old guys can keep going sexually when they are old (sometimes it requires viagra though).

also, bulgvar, why do you speak as if homosexuals were one malevolent mass? There are a bunch of different people who happen to enjoy sex with people of the same gender, and that's it? Beyond that, there isn't really much that links them. Some support things, some don't, just like heterosexuals. :/

Two controversial opinions:
1.Being a pedo doesn't make someone a bad person, it's how they act on it
2.Religion is the worst thing that has ever ahppened to humanity.

Freedom is never given; it is always taken. So for the fact that you're not a slave, don't thank those in authority. Thank someone with a "bad attitude."

Well its a lot less clothes to remove, more or less easier pray because usually girls who dress like whores have smaller intellect (case and point highschool) or self esteem issues. Making them easier prey.

Maybe they just think it looks nice?

My feelings about myself are irrelevant and pretty stupid, but I don't see why dressing to look pretty means I'm cruising for dicks?

Alsoooo, thinking like you're going to rape somebody is way uncool. Unless you are being ironic, in which case you get an eye roll and a grudging fist bump.

A pedophile can't be a good man. He is obviously scum.

Also, being anti - pedo on this forum is indeed controversial. Thank you, God, for not being among such people [pro - pedos] IRL.
