When I exited the vault I thought the enclave was just an old pre-war station on a loop. The whore in Moriarty's backed that up but after meeting nathan... I realized they were real but I immediately lost all hope with them

The enclave are freaking Nazis man.
There are mods out there that change the officer uniforms into actual Nazi commander outfits.

I don't use them though, because I think the enclave officer outfit is incredibly sexy.

I wear it sometimes.
I have a lot of outfits that I like to wear, and none of them have to with how good of an armor they are, they just look damn good.

Business wear with pre war hats and glasses, trench coats, jumpsuits, blackwolfs back pack, scribe robes, anything the enclave wears except for the head gear, radiation suits, and scientist outfits.
Stuff like that.

Get a minigun for robo-brains and protectrons and a few pulse grenades for sentry bots and raid that shit out of fort Constantine. Or play anchorage and get the winterized version.

I raided the National Guard Depot and got the MIRV. It is now locked away in my Megaton House, and i'm looking for a practical Fat Man.

The only sure fire way place I know to get a fatman is in the old only sewers, but you have to either be tough enough to fight deathclaws or be a good sneak character.

You can also occasionally find one in Flak & Shrapnel's show goods at higher levels.

EDIT: If I remember correctly, there's also one in a medium locked closet in the German town police station.

The two I know of are:
1. The dead brotherhood soldier at the GNR plaza
2. The weapons storage room in fort indipendence.

I also think there is one in the contraband lock up in the Germantown police HQ but I could be wrong. Mabye it was the church right by it.

The Vault Wrote:* The first location one may find this gun is right outside of GNR, during the "Following in His Footsteps" quest by picking it up from a dead Brotherhood soldier. With this, the player can acquire the Fat Man fairly early in the game. Note that this Brotherhood soldier is found by the fountain near where you fight with the Super Mutant Behemoth you encounter during this quest, along with 8 mini nukes.

NOTE: It will not appear if, by any of the many ways, the normal GNR quest is skipped and Sentinel Lyons is not encountered.

* A Fat Man can also be found in Evergreen Mills, in the basement armory of Germantown Police HQ (behind an average locked door), or at the Talon Company fort.

* In the Armory at National Guard Depot, behind a door that requires a passcode, you can find the Experimental MIRV version of Fat Man which can fire only, no more or no less than, 8 Mini Nukes at once. This is no easy task, as 2 through 5 of the Keller Family Transcripts must first be found.

* One can be found at the end of the Old Olney Sewers( Along with Prototype Medic Power Armor) after battle with a number of Deathclaws.

* A Fat-man and Mini-nuke may possibly be found on a Scavenger lying dead on the side of a brown car in a gas station (large red rocket) slightly east of Old Olney (the next square over in the map, bottom part of the square). Northwest of the Nuka Cola truck (with many Nuka-Colas and Quantums) may be a better land mark. This may be a random encounter, but the scavenger seemed to be positioned slightly off the trunk, as if the developer wanted you to see him as he fell out of it. The scavenger's inventory may also be randomized.

* One can also be found in Fort Constantine Alongside the T-51b Power Armor and two Mini Nukes. You will need all 3 of the special keys from the You Gotta Shoot 'Em in the Head Quest to access the room.

* One can also be found in the ruins of the White House near a skeleton. Next to the Fat Man is three Mini Nukes. The White House can be accessed from a utility manhole south of the building on Penn Ave.

* Flak in Rivet City has also been known to sell one at times.

* Another can be found equipped by Talon Mercenaries in the Capitol Building during or after the fight with the Super Mutant Behemoth

* A dead scavenger close to the center of sector h8v2 (at the boundary of leftmost and central mini-square in the map) carries a Fat Man and a Mini Nuke.

* Shrapnel in Rivet City carries one in which you can provoke him into a fight where you can knock the Fat Man out of his hands.

* One can be found even as early as completing the first objective in The Wasteland Survival Guide. One has been found where a Raider pulls the Fat Man out as a weapon.

the music from the classic games is truly great and i'm glad it's in NV

They're good but you want more. It gets pretty repetitive pretty quick. Same for enclave radio. After a point it just becomes sound. Buzzing and clanging and ringing sound.

That's why I always cheated to get Agatha's station. Can't go wrong with a violin...

I'm disappointed with the lack of the second side of the Butcher Pete song. I had to listen to the other side of the disc on youtube...
