To everyone who joined these forums at some point, and got discouraged by the negativity and left after a while (or even got literally scared off): I'm sorry.
I wasn't good enough at encouraging people to be kinder, and removing people who refuse to be kind. Encouraging people is hard, and removing people creates conflict, and I hate conflict... so that's why I wasn't better at it.
I was a very, very sensitive teen. The atmosphere of this forum as it is now, if it had existed in 1996, would probably have upset me far more than it would have helped.
I can handle quite a lot of negativity and even abuse now, but that isn't the point. I want to help people. I want to help the people who need it the most, and I want to help people like the 1996 version of me.
I'm still figuring out the best way to do that, but as it is now, these forums are doing more harm than good, and I can't keep running them.
Thank you to the few people who have tried to understand my point of view so far. I really, really appreciate you guys. You are beautiful people.
Everyone else: If after everything I've said so far, you still don't understand my motivations, I think it's unlikely that you will. We're just too different. Maybe someday in the future it might make sense, but until then, there's no point in arguing about it. I don't have the time or the energy for arguing anymore. I will focus my time and energy on people who support me, and those who need help.

Hello Mortals... I'm new here
Hello!
I have a pretty messed up mind. Just a warning.
After lurking on the forums for a few weeks, I finally decided to join, one of the reasons being I have so much to complain about. I'm in Australia, attending a Catholic High School. (and I'm Atheist) Yeah, It's pretty bad at the moment. I have pretty much the same problems with the education system that most of you guys do. And the amount of homework I have tonight is just crazy. 
One more thing, I like to rant a lot.

Oh I'm from Melbourne. Nah I don't go to Catholic School but I go to a Greek school once a week after normal school and it's religious. We pray before class and shit. Bah! They're not really bad though, I just ignore it and move on. Some other schools are really strict though!

Yeah, my school's pretty strict. We have to pray before homeroom and everything. And they told us point blank that we have to follow their religion and their rules without question.
I just refuse to pray, or just stand there in silence. I try and get people to question everything, to not believe whatever they're told. But some kids are so brainwashed they aren't willing to even consider that the authority might be lying to us. It's quite sad really.

I know, I use to pretend to pray with everyone around me, because the teacher would tell us off if we didn't pray and know the chant off by heart. Now I just stand there scratching my balls as they put their heads down and pray haha
I've lost all respect for humanity, I'm sorry. You either are the authority or obey the authority. Fuck that.

My teacher doesn't tell us off for not praying, he's more tolerant than my other teachers. But apparently I'm the only one who doesn't pray. It's all been drilled into our heads that much.

Isn't it lulzy? I love when a family member has a wedding/baptism/communion/confirmation and I gotta sit through the bullshit... though it sucks even worse for you... at least when I went to my catholic high school I was super religious lol
