To everyone who joined these forums at some point, and got discouraged by the negativity and left after a while (or even got literally scared off): I'm sorry.

I wasn't good enough at encouraging people to be kinder, and removing people who refuse to be kind. Encouraging people is hard, and removing people creates conflict, and I hate conflict... so that's why I wasn't better at it.

I was a very, very sensitive teen. The atmosphere of this forum as it is now, if it had existed in 1996, would probably have upset me far more than it would have helped.

I can handle quite a lot of negativity and even abuse now, but that isn't the point. I want to help people. I want to help the people who need it the most, and I want to help people like the 1996 version of me.

I'm still figuring out the best way to do that, but as it is now, these forums are doing more harm than good, and I can't keep running them.

Thank you to the few people who have tried to understand my point of view so far. I really, really appreciate you guys. You are beautiful people.

Everyone else: If after everything I've said so far, you still don't understand my motivations, I think it's unlikely that you will. We're just too different. Maybe someday in the future it might make sense, but until then, there's no point in arguing about it. I don't have the time or the energy for arguing anymore. I will focus my time and energy on people who support me, and those who need help.

I'm not sure if this is the right spot to post this. This work isn't even mine.

This is a Fanfiction made for the fandom "Tales of the Abyss" and totally unrelated, bit the way it's beautifully written and that it relates to our situation, it just made me post this thing.

Oh, some parts may seem confusing like the amnesia, sword, Guy (he's a male, and Luke's, the caged person's manservant), Fon Master, and all, but its supposed to be that way. You'll understand if you play the game or watch the anime (with the same name)


We need to be set free.

Hey, I'm not an extreme reformist like him! (I only read the first few paras of what link you posted, sorry I'm in a hurry...)

But...yeah. Caged. Waiting to use the formulas in real life...
To dead, the story is awesome, and gets better post Akzeriuth. Finish it, and watch the awesomeness play out...Please!
Oh, and finish the Nebillim side quest while you're at it. It totally affects your perspective of the ending...I guess?

I think I lost the SD card that had all my save data on it, so I'd have to start over from the beginning. I'll probably do it some day, though.

To Hansgrohe, its actually an RPG for a PS2 and a few other consoles. I never played it, but I know the general story and a lot of details about the world building of the fandom, which are from fanfictions (most of which, I give credit to Laryna6 and the other writer who wrote 'Reflections', the most famous fanfiction in the same fandom. If you want Luke and Asch to get along better, this is the best fic for you)
