Killing People

It's not even a matter of race, is it? They don't get a trial even though they could if they used non-lethal means? I mean, in all sorts of cases they can but they don't. The law isn't so important that it should be most frequently enforced with bullets, certainly? I mean come on!

The dude with the gun is also a threat. Both of them.

Keep in mind that "non-lethal" is something of a misnomer. Such weapons can still kill people. We're not very durable as species, especially with our current lifestyle.

IMO the "non-lethal" label was merely a marketing ploy. A fancy ad label to make it sound nice.

True, but bullets are far worse.

A bullet doesn't send thousands of volts through your nervous system. It just makes a hole, squishes some meat, and maybe damages an organ or two. All of which is usually repairable naturally.

AFAIK nerve damage is significantly slower for the body to repair.

"They" are the cops, as described by my grandmother. Last time a teacher's vile manner had driven me to run like hell, (I tend to run from people who act aggressively towards me, at least when we're in an open space or near a door or something.) according to my grandmother the principal said that the staff can and will call the police, and then she decided to google that stuff right in front of me.... It turns out that police brutality is pretty likely to be lethal if you happen to be a student with special needs. And then there's how she sort of praises the local police for what she herself would call "bordering on bloodthirsty." If there's anything I know, I know that no matter what it is, you're probably never the only one.
That, and the fact that what you see on the news isn't even all of the times that people get killed by the police, whether there was a good reason or not.
They shoot to kill; That's what they were trained to do. They even wrestle to kill, for Pete's sake. There are better ways to use those arms, those bullets, those weapons of any sort, and better things to use them on.

When you consider the fact I'm a Muslim and was an illegal immigrant(now I'm citizen after years of neglecting to take care of it by my father), it's actually quite funny.
