I haven't been on here since November of 2009. I'm not even in school yet, and I'm ready to rant. <3
Let's list off a couple of things before the actual rant, shall we?
1. I'm gay
2. I'm not a flaming annoying gay. Just gay.
3. I live in a southern state
4. Kids are assholes (Fuck's sake, going into senior year and these kids act like they're 5.)
5. Rednecks are adapted to southern states. :waah:
6. If you have anything against gay people, can't say I care. Don't respond is all I'm gonna say. You'll get no response out of me and you will have just wasted your time.

Alrighty then, down to business. Unfortunately, we have this thing called Christianity that condemns gay people. They say this is a country with freedom of religion. Why does Christianity overrule that? It's stupid. I have nothing against Christians as long as they have no problem with me. I'm completely respectful to ALL religions. It just makes me mad that someone tries to tell me I'm wrong when I'm different from them in a way that I can't control. It's like telling me that being white is wrong and I should be black... Sorry, I can't change colors. Just like I can't change my sexuality. Restating the fact that the kids are assholes at my school, now, here we go. My better half goes to my school. Some asshole texts him. Of course, guess what kind of person it is, a conservative, Christian redneck. This is what the message says:
"You're the gay mother fucker from English. I'm gonna kick your ass."

I shortly informed the retard afterwards that, if he touched him, he'd have a lot more problems than just a fucked up face and bad breath. He'd have a tire iron through his fucking skull. He didn't have semester tests (when this was going on) because apparently stupid people, like himself, attend school and maintain a C average. O.O Who knew? I told him I wished he had semester tests because I'd kick his fucking ass then and there in the hall way without hesitation. Excuse my language, I know I have a mouth. But this still makes me mad even though it happened over three months ago. After he said he didn't have to take the tests, I told him that I'd see him next year. Next year is this Thursday. I'm already pissed. I want to slam his little beady head into the brick wall of the hall way. I hate interacting with immature fuckers who can't keep their mouths shut because of a stupid belief. Shut the fuck up and let people be. That kind of shit is none of their fucking business to begin with. God damn, I hate school. I'm forced to be enclosed with dipshits all day. I hate this shit.

And that is the end of my rant. Feel free to respond. I'll definitely respond back, with the exception of number 6, of course.

EDIT: Oh, we also put a teacher on probation after 2 weeks of constant calling and bitchy work because a student flat out called him a faggot ass mother fucker, teacher standing RIGHT THERE, and laughed. Needless to say, she had about a 10 minute apology when his mom came up there saying that she was going to rip the bitch's nappy hair out. Smile

Wow... I'm sorry to hear that... society really is retarded. Back where I live some of the gay people are the populars of the school... not that, that may be a better position, but its a damn sight different then being hated because of Christianity.

Don't tolerate it, don't let them get you down, I know you won't let that happen. Prove you have the high moral ground and don't stoop down to their pathetic, immature level. If you have to, make sure you do it good and effectively, make sure he never messes with you again.

Same problem at my school, although it isn't just the Christians; people from all religions are happy to join in. One of the reasons I hate going to the shit place (aka school) is because of how narrow minded those primative beings are.

That kid's probably fucked up like he is because his parents are retarded too and he never had any decent role models. Maybe his parents beat the shit out of him and he needs to feel 'powerful' somewhere else because he can't do that at home.

I'm not being very helpful, I know. They're still little shits and should have the decency to not be that way. But then most people don't have the brains to overrule their circumstances. So most people kinda turn out the way they were raised.

It's okay, I went to a certain store and put all The Bibles in the fiction section to piss off certain people I know that go to there. :3
Also, to rebel, I've made out in school when no teachers were watching in a crowded hallway. Well, it's not really a hallway. My school has outside paths that are just like sidewalks with several buildings to go into. Either way, it was crowded and there were a shit ton of people I didn't like that were around. The only reason I don't like them is because they've given me shit my whole life. (I've been in the same town since I was 4.) I just decided to make them uncomfortable Biggrin

Day of Silence was the best. I was up in the office for wearing tape on my mouth. Yup, tape got me sent to the office. I wasn't being obnoxious. If a teacher asked me something, I'd answer.. Just wore it on my chest because it wasn't suitable for school. All it said was "Day of Silence. I am a PROUD LGBT Member/Supporter. :/ That's enough to get you sent to the office apparently. Cough cough, principals are Christian, cough. :<

Agreed with all of what you said. It's not just the Southern States that hate Gays. California too. If you stepped in my middle school they use gay as it's a bad thing. A few years later in summer school in high school they are spending their time in Biology B throwing crayons. I'd promptly moved to the front of the class so I can pay attention and not get hit. Kindergartners are more mature than high school students. Well most of them anyways.

I'm gay (Well, a lesbian, but whatever, same thing) too, and I'm in a very southern state. My school is literally almost all 100% white, Christian, and conservative. I made the mistake of telling a not-so-trustworthy friend back in middle school, and all hell broke loose. I'd be terrified to go to school every day, and when I got there, I'd become sick. Teachers would hear the shit those kids would say to me, and they wouldn't even do anything. How useless of them! Freshman year was almost as bad. Kids would push me in the hallways and call me "The Lesbian" instead of my name.

Things have gotten marginally better for me now, though. I'm about two weeks into my sophomore year of high school, and no one has gotten shitty with me yet, which is a new record! Not being able to get a date or talk about who I find attractive still really sucks, though.

Basically, you've just gotta keep your chin up and not let them get to you. You are the better person here because you are not a redneck asshole who finds great pleasure in bullying others.

People are ridiculous. That's all I can say. I live in the south (well, kind of... North Carolina) and I'm glad to say that my school is generally accepting of gay people. I couldn't stand to be around that. I'm straight and it still pisses me the fuck off. But I get what you mean about people starting shit. I guess just keep your head up and don't listen to anything they say, they're just talking out of their ass.

True. But on the other hand, it's really hard to unlearn bad things or avoid being influenced by the people you spend the most time with. People of average intelligence don't seem to be able to pull it off very often.

God, the first post pissed me off so much. Saw it happen all the time at my old high school, and I'm not even gay. Some asshole will say or do something totally bigoted and nobody calls them out on it, because if they do, the asshole will be all "OOOH R U A FAGGOT TOO LOLZ!?"

Dude, you should come to Vermont. It's the complete opposite up there. At my college, everyone is so gay-friendly that the police had to show up at a Christian fundamentalist demonstration...to protect the homophobes from getting beat up. It was five douchebags with anti-gay signs facing five hundred counter protesters across the street with signs saying "Love Everybody!" Fucking beautiful.

I'm bisexual, and if I ever do come out, I'll have to wait until after high school. My brother is a homophobic fascist sympathizer(We don't talk politics anymore). I'm also in Boy Scouts, the king of Homophobic Youth organizations. I'd get kicked out for being bi.

My dad would just...I don't even know what he would do with me. He has gay friends, but he pretends to accept their sexuality to seem friendly. My school is pretty GLBT friendly, it's about 60/40, homophobes having the upper hand.

Oh, my mom is a First Baptist homophobe and my dad is a backwoods redneck. I came out and I had to fight for 7 months for my freedom to even be slightly returned. Worst 7 months of my life. It wasn't easy, but I was tired of hiding it. I just told them how it was. They can't really do anything about it. They can make your life a living hell, but they can't change your sexuality O.o
But if you need to wait, wait. Don't do it too soon because you can really put yourself in a bad position. I was kicked out of my house temporarily because of all the crap it started. They sent me down the road walking with the clothes I had on my back and nothing else at the age of 16. They told anyone who asked that I "ran away". Well, I did run. As soon as they gave me the opportunity to leave, I screamed, "FUCK YES!" and ran the other direction. They're the ones who told me to go. My dad said, "Get walking. The next person that picks you up is where the fuck you go, I guess." Then he kicked me and I took off in the other direction. Fun times, right? <3

Joey stories like yours really show the sham that is family for what is.
I would have did what a bud of mine did when his dad kicked him out(lit the house on fire as he was driving away).
