The truth is, anything will stand out at school. You will get noticed for every single clothing, accessory, and anything that you wear or show interest in. Since bronies are stereotyped as brainwashed idiotic pedophiles who like a little girl's TV show, their interest especially sticks out, and because of this, it's viewed as "obnoxious", or, "stupid". But the thing is, it's like every fandom. You have the people who respectfully watch the show, the people who are crazy about the show and constantly compare it to others, and then you have the psychopaths that do extremely weird and bizarre things with it. I actually know 3 friends that are bronies, and what always get's me is, they are people who seem like would never be bronies in a million years. Yet, they are some of the best friends I know. They are funny, creative, and smart, and they don't go on and on about it like they do according to the internet. It's really just a cartoon, but because of mass people slapping a label on it stating something about how bad it is, everyone fell for it.

Yep. It's kinda sad that SCHOOL SURVIVAL acts like SCHOOL in this subject.

Kudos to the above two posters (above the poster above this one). Let me add to the derail.

There's shit in almost all fandoms, but it's particularly exigent with bronies. Yeah, there's the average people who like the show and some of the fan material and aren't obnoxious about it(I'm pretty sure they comprise a general majority of fans and I'm okay with them), but then there's the fans who are at least sort of obnoxious about it. And then there's the assholes, and especially creepy assholes, which is particularly bad here because there's already been numerous cases of young fans looking up MLP and being traumatized by the sick shit they post. (At least keep it to yourselves, or put stricter age restrictions in place, goddamn it! If you're going to sexualize a kid's cartoon AT LEAST DO THAT FOR THE REST OF US, YOU MOTHERFUCKERS.)

And THEN there's the fact that some aspects of the fandom were cross-contaminated from the le Gamers and le Internet Culture, and you have people outright ignoring 'love and tolerance' and harassing little girls in toy stores and excluding them from the fandom that was MEANT FOR THE LITTLE GIRLS that bronies are more or less GUESTS OF HONOR in. (They need to realize this.) And then you have a couple of them raping people and people in the fandom defending them. I've met people who refuse to call themselves bronies, and who automatically hate all bronies because of the clusterfuck that's arisen. And I can't say I entirely blame them.

I'm not sure why you all got so offended all the sudden. First of all, I said I agree with you on the bit about the school's resolution of the issue. Second I am only stating the fact that the brony fandom has a bad reputation and some of the fans are a bit excessive. And when you choose to be so offended about it, than what does that say about bronies? You prove my point.

And as for my bit about how to solve bullying? Well this is a support forum and learning how to fight back is the best solution to bullying. What am I supposed to say? "bullies are so mean we should all just treat each other nicer"? We can say bullys are bad and bash empathy into children's heads all we want, but it won't change shit. Schools alerady do this and it doesn't change shit. Why? Because everyone has problems and some people are fucked up. You can't change that by yourself. You CAN learn to stick up for yourself and others. Not only do you not get bullied anymore, but you grow stronger as a person. If we spent the energy we put from being victims and making excuses into learning defense, I guarentee all of us would be free from bullying.

And Kaiba, you can disagree with me all you want, but stop with this name-calling bullshit. For a supposed "support" forum few of you practice what you preach.

You are only agreeing with 4 people max in this thread when saying that people should just beat up their bullies, those people do no have a problem with you at all. You are currently arguing with people that don't want there to be needless fights in school.

I was actually traumatized by MLP R34 myself. I'm apparently not the only brony. They actually usually DO have strict age restrictions, but Google Images shows the images anyway and 4SickFucks didn't have age restriction the first (and only) time I visited.

"Love and Tolerance" isn't a real brony slogan; It was made by trolls calling them drunks (because it's a slogan for Alcoholics Anonymous) then some idiots took it and made it a brony thing. I'm thankful that it's almost entirely disappeared, because it was annoying as shit in addition to the fact that most of the people who said it were the assholes you mentioned in your post.

I already said this before. Standing up is good, sometimes and if you can do it. Not everyone can just fight back, and it's not always the best solution. It shows the bully that you'll fight back, yes, but the bully will most likely just go to pick on someone else. AFAIK school authorities' response to bullying is hit and miss, victims might get help if they tell them, they might not. It's an avenue to consider if the victim can't fight back.

The reason you should press the reply button and quote the person you are replying to is so that nobody gets confused. It is entirely possible for someone else to post before you do, so if you don't quote then people might think you are replying to them instead of someone else.
