To everyone who joined these forums at some point, and got discouraged by the negativity and left after a while (or even got literally scared off): I'm sorry.
I wasn't good enough at encouraging people to be kinder, and removing people who refuse to be kind. Encouraging people is hard, and removing people creates conflict, and I hate conflict... so that's why I wasn't better at it.
I was a very, very sensitive teen. The atmosphere of this forum as it is now, if it had existed in 1996, would probably have upset me far more than it would have helped.
I can handle quite a lot of negativity and even abuse now, but that isn't the point. I want to help people. I want to help the people who need it the most, and I want to help people like the 1996 version of me.
I'm still figuring out the best way to do that, but as it is now, these forums are doing more harm than good, and I can't keep running them.
Thank you to the few people who have tried to understand my point of view so far. I really, really appreciate you guys. You are beautiful people.
Everyone else: If after everything I've said so far, you still don't understand my motivations, I think it's unlikely that you will. We're just too different. Maybe someday in the future it might make sense, but until then, there's no point in arguing about it. I don't have the time or the energy for arguing anymore. I will focus my time and energy on people who support me, and those who need help.

Bus Driver
Hey guys I know I haven't been active in a LONG while, but I think this story needs to be heard.
Someone on the bus the other day pulled one of those red bars on the emergency window. Since the driver doesn't know who did it, no one is allowed to sit by the emergency windows. I know that sounds kind of unsafe to begin with, but it gets better.
Me and a friend brought up out concerns to the Vice Principal today at the end of the day. We stated why we weren't ok with what she was doing. Know what his response was? "It's her bus and this isn't an issue."
So basically our concerns were flushed down the drain just like that. He didn't care that we were upset, he just brushed it off like it was nothing. I don't think that a bus literally CRAMMED to the brim isn't an issue.
It's not the bus I'm worried about though, it's the fact that our thoughts and concerns literally passed right over his head! Does anyone have any thoughts or suggestions on what to do? Thanks

Did you tell any other staff members about this? Maybe you could mention this issue with one of them.
Or how about mentioning this to your parents, that is if they care.
If these don't work, then mention the words "sue" and "lawyer". 
I don't know if my suggestions will out or not, though.

Why do you give a **** about sitting by the emergency exit? Sounds like you just want to bellyache about nothing. I wouldn't listen to you either.

Because reality is not black and white. A comment voicing an opinion can easily subconsciously affect anybody, causing the germination of a tiny seed of thought to bloom at a varying rate. Opinions must be allowed regardless of negative or positive as it will provide venues of thought previously unthought of. A negative remark might suddenly spark the onset of a positively beneficial post caused by the potential energy of said negative remark.
As for the issue of your concerns being disregarded, it's mainly an issue of ageism and the fact you hold negligible influence over the person. If this was Crusader Kings 2, their opinion of you would most likely be between -25 and 0 simply due to the fact the VP doesn't care anything about your thoughts and that you have absolutely no leverage(since you pretty much have no legal rights and no financial contribution, and no high social standing of power).
The only solution is either power through numbers, or power through authority(aka parents)

It's okay. Letting out your rage is a good thing. Better if you could let it out by bludgeoning an opponent in a colosseum stylishly while a crowd cheered and shouted your in name and rained gold coins on you...but I'll settle for video games and forum
