famous for creating the brilliant TimeSplitter series. Eventually, they went into administration after the fiasco that was Haze (shudders),
while at work on the doomed Star Wars: Battlefront 3.


They were later bought out by Crytek to become Crytek UK, and their most recent work was on the multiplayer component for Crysis 2.
It has been rumored that the studio was also working on TimeSplitters 4 for the next generation batch of consoles.

As for Homefront, I had the pleasure of renting it a couple of months ago. Although the entire premise of it was
pants-on-head stupid (and all the American patriotic sentiment was a bit lost on this mild-mannered British person),
it had its heart in the right place and managed to provide an afternoon’s worth of modern combat fun.
Clearly, THQ are looking to promote Homefront as a franchise that can stand comfortably upon its own two feet
among the myriad shooters it clones. Spare a thought for the original development team Kaos Studios,
who were shut down by THQ mere months after the first game’s release.

Lets hope Homefront 2 lives up to its awesome pedigree, it will be a CRYing shame otherwise…

Homefront 2 is set for release anytime in the financial year of 2014 (between April 2013 – March 2014).

Every person whos ever interviewed Crytek since 2008: So WHEN are you going to make Timesplitters 4? PLEASE MAKE IT PLEASE!!
