To everyone who joined these forums at some point, and got discouraged by the negativity and left after a while (or even got literally scared off): I'm sorry.
I wasn't good enough at encouraging people to be kinder, and removing people who refuse to be kind. Encouraging people is hard, and removing people creates conflict, and I hate conflict... so that's why I wasn't better at it.
I was a very, very sensitive teen. The atmosphere of this forum as it is now, if it had existed in 1996, would probably have upset me far more than it would have helped.
I can handle quite a lot of negativity and even abuse now, but that isn't the point. I want to help people. I want to help the people who need it the most, and I want to help people like the 1996 version of me.
I'm still figuring out the best way to do that, but as it is now, these forums are doing more harm than good, and I can't keep running them.
Thank you to the few people who have tried to understand my point of view so far. I really, really appreciate you guys. You are beautiful people.
Everyone else: If after everything I've said so far, you still don't understand my motivations, I think it's unlikely that you will. We're just too different. Maybe someday in the future it might make sense, but until then, there's no point in arguing about it. I don't have the time or the energy for arguing anymore. I will focus my time and energy on people who support me, and those who need help.

You don't have to read this or care or reply or anything.
I just need to vent because I am seriously beyond furious right now.
So my ex boyfriend is still causing me trouble.
The one that threatened to kill me twice. Attempted to rape me. Threatened me and my family. Tried to convince me to stop taking birth control at 15 and 16 so he could get me pregnant.
Yeah him.
Well he just told me that he's filed a restraining order on me.
A restraining order.. On me.
Why you may ask? well it's simple. He wanted to get back with me. I said no. And then he said he'd file a restraining order on me. And so I said this.

Last I checked, restraining orders arent freely given. He is probably bullshitting because here has to be some proof that the person you want the restraining order against is a threat to your safety.

I know how restraining orders work.
Just the other week I was doing research about it to try and get one on him.
I know that if he's not bullshitting (and it's very likely he is considering he's a compulsive liar) I'll get notice in about 2 weeks.
This is also what he told me.
It's fine, he has nothing against me. Unlike him, I've never threatened him or his family. The only thing he has against me is maybe "harassment."
Or what he considers harassment. Which is really just him texting me first and not hearing what he wants to hear so he gets mad and starts playing victim.

Well he would still need some proof. Judges don't exactly rely solely on the bitching about harassment. Unless he either has friends in the court, or the judge is a fool, I doubt he'll manage to get a restraining order. I think each state has a certain criteria for what's considered "danger to safety", ranging from simple stalking to acts of physical violence.

Yeah he doesn't have any proof.
And if he shows up with proof, it was photoshopped.
This is all going to blow up in his face. I don't think he understands how a restraining order works.
He seems to think he can say "she's just annoying me" and he'll get one.
But once I show up with my entire family and tell him what's really going on.
Which is something along the lines of: He's just mad because I won't be his sperm bucket and I call him out on his shit.
In the end the Judge will probably tell him to get the fuck out of his court room and end up granting me a restraining order instead. -_-
Ok well maybe the giving me a restraining order part is far fetched, but you get it.
I mean really, who's the judge gonna side with?
The ex-soldier who got kicked out for threatening to kill his ex girlfriend?
Or the tiny, weak, ex girlfriend who's never even been in a fight and only shot a co2 pistol and couldn't even aim very well?

Who cares if he gets a restraining order? He's doing you a favor IMO if he actually manages to get one, that way maybe he'll stay the fuck away from you.
Ignore his threats and just stop talking to him and stop acknowledging him, he'll give up eventually and you'll never hear from him again.
