To everyone who joined these forums at some point, and got discouraged by the negativity and left after a while (or even got literally scared off): I'm sorry.
I wasn't good enough at encouraging people to be kinder, and removing people who refuse to be kind. Encouraging people is hard, and removing people creates conflict, and I hate conflict... so that's why I wasn't better at it.
I was a very, very sensitive teen. The atmosphere of this forum as it is now, if it had existed in 1996, would probably have upset me far more than it would have helped.
I can handle quite a lot of negativity and even abuse now, but that isn't the point. I want to help people. I want to help the people who need it the most, and I want to help people like the 1996 version of me.
I'm still figuring out the best way to do that, but as it is now, these forums are doing more harm than good, and I can't keep running them.
Thank you to the few people who have tried to understand my point of view so far. I really, really appreciate you guys. You are beautiful people.
Everyone else: If after everything I've said so far, you still don't understand my motivations, I think it's unlikely that you will. We're just too different. Maybe someday in the future it might make sense, but until then, there's no point in arguing about it. I don't have the time or the energy for arguing anymore. I will focus my time and energy on people who support me, and those who need help.

I can't understand how the fuck I'm supposed to get the Fallout Script Extender to work. I got everything worked out in Fallout Mod Manager, and my computer meets the requirements. So look, I renamed my Fallout Script Extender application to "Falloutlauncher.exe" like the fucking instructions on something told me to and when I clicked it, I get to the birth scene and I'm thinkin', yeah, this is workin' cause I see that there's more options now, like to play as a ghoul and there's more facial hair options and things, but when I try to 'wake up!' so I can play the alternative beginning storyline, all I get is a black screen with some backround noise I can hear.
I tried fucking around with the 'add FOmod" thing in the mod manager and when I click and drag all the application shit for use in the mod, and click OK, it doesn't show up in the fallout mod manager. This is bullshit. Someone help. Keep in mind, I'm using the Steam build. So the point is, I have the fallout script extender, I just don't understand how to get it into the fallout mod manager.
HoS, if you're reading this, delete some damn messages from your PM box, because when I tried to tell this to you through that method, it wouldn't let me cause yours is full.
Was this the right one? I thought so because as I mentioned earlier, I'm using the Steam version of FO3.

Do you have all the right boxes checked in the addon manager that's on the start window? Also, I would recommend disabling any other mods you have installed. I've never played the one you're talking about but it sounds like it changes alot and it could have conflicts with other game mods.

This is all the stuff I got into the fallout mod manager. I still don't know how the fuck to get the fallout script extender in there.
EDIT: Also, apparently when I run the game from the fallout script extender ("Falloutlauncher.exe" rename) it fucking freezes like right after the first toddler scene. This is fucking shit. I wish the fucking uploaders of the fallout script extender would've included FUCKING INSTRUCTIONS on how to install and use it rather than just say "welp here's a random list of shit you gotta install hope it works herp derp." Faggots.

Lucky the pm alert still works as I don't come around much but I'm getting ready to go to work now. I get off at either 6:30 or 7:30 so I'll be around to help then if you still need it.
I would try disabling all the DLC and extra options for the wanders addition and see what happens. I haven't done much with fallout in a year or two though so I'm not really up to date with it.
Maybe HoS can be of better assistance.
