To everyone who joined these forums at some point, and got discouraged by the negativity and left after a while (or even got literally scared off): I'm sorry.
I wasn't good enough at encouraging people to be kinder, and removing people who refuse to be kind. Encouraging people is hard, and removing people creates conflict, and I hate conflict... so that's why I wasn't better at it.
I was a very, very sensitive teen. The atmosphere of this forum as it is now, if it had existed in 1996, would probably have upset me far more than it would have helped.
I can handle quite a lot of negativity and even abuse now, but that isn't the point. I want to help people. I want to help the people who need it the most, and I want to help people like the 1996 version of me.
I'm still figuring out the best way to do that, but as it is now, these forums are doing more harm than good, and I can't keep running them.
Thank you to the few people who have tried to understand my point of view so far. I really, really appreciate you guys. You are beautiful people.
Everyone else: If after everything I've said so far, you still don't understand my motivations, I think it's unlikely that you will. We're just too different. Maybe someday in the future it might make sense, but until then, there's no point in arguing about it. I don't have the time or the energy for arguing anymore. I will focus my time and energy on people who support me, and those who need help.

Why the PS Vita failed to surpass the 3DS
Its market focus is all over the place, the Wii U is trying to please everyone like the Vita but at least Nintendo has 20 more years of experience and has it organized. It has a Assassins Creed 3 side story, a surprisingly decent Little Big Planet, the worst Uncharted ever, and only a few more to be noticed. It's main focus is being the first portable console with HD and all the apps. It has tons of things it can do, but are mostly known as rip offs of iphones. It's actually pretty decent if you know how to adapt it to your play style and enjoy most of its games and apps. Otherwise I would heavily advise getting the 3DS which knows how to focus on the right audience. The camera is very unimpressive. Most of the good games on it just said "forget it lets just allow the player to just use the buttons the whole game." The only game I know so far that has 100% successfully used all the gimmicks of the PS Vita is Little Big Planet Vita. Overall the PS Vita is just another console that is trying to do too much at its generation,was rushed because of the 3DS and bad PS3 sales, and with the other big consoles coming out I don't see a comeback without a price drop anytime soon. I'll give it a 4 out of 10 for lost potential like a portable console Sony version of Sonic 06.

It's a handheld, sure, but it doesn't operate in the same fashion as a 3DS. It's like comparing apples to oranges - both are fruits, but that's where the similarity ends. Since the PSV is trying to work like a phone, though, it's fair enough to compare it to smartphones.

Seriously, though, Vita is kinda lackluster aside from a few games. 3DS isn't much better.

Well with the Wii U coming out less than a month who cares about the portable consoles anyway. At launch the Wii U is going to have more grade A games than the portable consoles that were out over a year.
