RIP School Survival Forums
August 2001 - June 2017
The School Survival Forums are permanently retired. If you need help with quitting school, unsupportive parents or anything else, there is a list of resources on the Help Page.
If you want to write about your experiences in school, you can write on our blog.
To everyone who joined these forums at some point, and got discouraged by the negativity and left after a while (or even got literally scared off): I'm sorry.
I wasn't good enough at encouraging people to be kinder, and removing people who refuse to be kind. Encouraging people is hard, and removing people creates conflict, and I hate conflict... so that's why I wasn't better at it.
I was a very, very sensitive teen. The atmosphere of this forum as it is now, if it had existed in 1996, would probably have upset me far more than it would have helped.
I can handle quite a lot of negativity and even abuse now, but that isn't the point. I want to help people. I want to help the people who need it the most, and I want to help people like the 1996 version of me.
I'm still figuring out the best way to do that, but as it is now, these forums are doing more harm than good, and I can't keep running them.
Thank you to the few people who have tried to understand my point of view so far. I really, really appreciate you guys. You are beautiful people.
Everyone else: If after everything I've said so far, you still don't understand my motivations, I think it's unlikely that you will. We're just too different. Maybe someday in the future it might make sense, but until then, there's no point in arguing about it. I don't have the time or the energy for arguing anymore. I will focus my time and energy on people who support me, and those who need help.
-SoulRiser

Does anyone remember this one movie
It aired on Nickelodeon in 2000 and it was called "Crybaby Lane."
Does anyone remember seeing it? It's supposedly very rare (with no VHS copies ever released) and was only aired once. It was also said to cause nightmares.
I got in contact with an actor who played in the movie and he said he would send me a copy, which would effectively make me one of the few people in my state, if not America, to have a copy of the movie.

Cool Story rich guy.
But seriously, can you find it online? If not, post that somewhere, dammit.

You can find a 3:40-long selection of clips on YouTube (posted by Trey Rogers, an actor who starred in the movie), but other than that, there's nothing. People have been trying to find it since 2005 but their efforts were fruitless.
I don't have a copy of the movie yet, but I'll have it by Thursday.

I meant when you get it. Or did he tell you not to?

Re: Does anyone remember this one movie
If you got in contact with an actor from the movie, and he said he would send you a copy of the movie, wouldn't the movie title be mentioned at some point? I mean, for god's sakes, the guy was in the movie, wouldn't it have made more sense to just ask him? And wouldn't he have said "I'll send you a copy of *name of movie*", instead of "I'll send you a copy of this movie you don't know the name of but I somehow know that you mean without knowing the name of the movie".

My bad, I confused the meaning of this thread to the other one BMP posted in Movies/TV/Books.

Re: Does anyone remember this one movie
The trippiest thing about this is, no one would even give a shit if it were available. But now that no one can see it, everyone wants to.
Inb4 BMP says he has the link, and it sends us to "NEVER GONNA GIVE YOU UP, NEVER GONNA LET YOU DOWN"

Re: Does anyone remember this one movie
Fandango Movie Synopsis Wrote:This made-for-cable thriller-chiller was filmed in Ohio, where most of the story takes place. A pair of young brothers, Andrew (Jase Blankfort) and Carl (Trey Rogers), cannot get their fill of the spooky ghost stories told by local undertaker Mr. Bennett (Frank Langella). The boys are particularly fascinated by the legend of a brace of long-deceased Siamese twins -- one good, one evil -- who were literally torn apart at the time of their funeral. Intending to learn more about the twins, the adventurous Andrew conducts a séance, only to get more than he bargains for when he releases a horrifying demon, which promptly wreaks havoc upon the community. It is up to Andrew's mild, unassuming brother Carl to undo the damage -- if it isn't already too late. Cry Baby Lane made its Nickelodeon TV debut on October 28, 2000. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi
I can't imagine anything from Nickelodeon being that scary. But whatever, link to it anyway.
