To everyone who joined these forums at some point, and got discouraged by the negativity and left after a while (or even got literally scared off): I'm sorry.
I wasn't good enough at encouraging people to be kinder, and removing people who refuse to be kind. Encouraging people is hard, and removing people creates conflict, and I hate conflict... so that's why I wasn't better at it.
I was a very, very sensitive teen. The atmosphere of this forum as it is now, if it had existed in 1996, would probably have upset me far more than it would have helped.
I can handle quite a lot of negativity and even abuse now, but that isn't the point. I want to help people. I want to help the people who need it the most, and I want to help people like the 1996 version of me.
I'm still figuring out the best way to do that, but as it is now, these forums are doing more harm than good, and I can't keep running them.
Thank you to the few people who have tried to understand my point of view so far. I really, really appreciate you guys. You are beautiful people.
Everyone else: If after everything I've said so far, you still don't understand my motivations, I think it's unlikely that you will. We're just too different. Maybe someday in the future it might make sense, but until then, there's no point in arguing about it. I don't have the time or the energy for arguing anymore. I will focus my time and energy on people who support me, and those who need help.

For those of you who don't have time to watch: Its about how reddit (I would also include a majority of the internet too, and a certain forum site that I won't mention. *HINT*) has become a big circle jerk for the 30+ year old virgin male "I DONT NEED WHEMENZ OR A LIFE, I HAS MAH VIDEO GAMEZ AND INTERNETZ" population. Also, if you go to memebase or reddit, a good number of rage comics and memes stereotype women as being super-bitchy all the time and never making sense.

I know, I kinda realized after viewing this I need to do things IRL more. Sure I would do stuff every once in a while, but lately it has been too much internet not enough life. I still think a good balance of internet time/IRL time is enjoyable though. I will admit It feels like my IQ has gone up about 20 points because it and books are only places to get good facts that aren't taught in public school. I think everyone here on SS would be much more sheeple like without the internet. I just realize I need IRL a bit more and not ignore it.

As much as its true with Reddit and such, I don't think there's a per-determined "right" way to live. I spend most of my time alone for now, I still go out when I can, but I just enjoy quiet activities much more and the few of my friends who also take it easy (and don't feel like they have to scream their asses off or do something extreme and be the center-stage of attention to enjoy life). I don't hate others for being more social or extroverted, even if they think those who enjoy their time alone or doing quiet activities have "no life".

1.I live in Florida
2.Don't live near a river that isn't like a retention pond/ditch.
3.no mountains
4.Woods are boring if you are alone.
5.Don't have boat and water is cold and forever alone.
6.I hate basketball and forever alone.
7.Jet ski = expensive.
8.Soccer sucks.

Which is why I posted multiple pictures. There are many things one can do outside. Even alone.
A lot of you cause your own problems, you need to realize that. If you are happy sitting at home then who cares though. Just don't say everything outside your house sucks. Clearly you have no idea what you are talking about.

I spend heaps of time on the computer. But everyday at school during break I'm always playing a soccer match or some shit. And I love playing indoor soccer and going for runs.
Reddit is good to browse but I found that lots of those people are no life fags like 4chanfags.
Find a balance.

Yeah, totally. Y'know. Awimming in a river, breaking into abandoned buildings, huge protests, exploring the forest, hitchhiking, punk shows, waterparks, making out, shoplifting... All so boring, right?
Not saying internet and xbox aren't great, but there's tons of other great stuff as well. And a lot of it is free.
