RIP School Survival Forums
August 2001 - June 2017

The School Survival Forums are permanently retired. If you need help with quitting school, unsupportive parents or anything else, there is a list of resources on the Help Page.

If you want to write about your experiences in school, you can write on our blog.

To everyone who joined these forums at some point, and got discouraged by the negativity and left after a while (or even got literally scared off): I'm sorry.

I wasn't good enough at encouraging people to be kinder, and removing people who refuse to be kind. Encouraging people is hard, and removing people creates conflict, and I hate conflict... so that's why I wasn't better at it.

I was a very, very sensitive teen. The atmosphere of this forum as it is now, if it had existed in 1996, would probably have upset me far more than it would have helped.

I can handle quite a lot of negativity and even abuse now, but that isn't the point. I want to help people. I want to help the people who need it the most, and I want to help people like the 1996 version of me.

I'm still figuring out the best way to do that, but as it is now, these forums are doing more harm than good, and I can't keep running them.

Thank you to the few people who have tried to understand my point of view so far. I really, really appreciate you guys. You are beautiful people.

Everyone else: If after everything I've said so far, you still don't understand my motivations, I think it's unlikely that you will. We're just too different. Maybe someday in the future it might make sense, but until then, there's no point in arguing about it. I don't have the time or the energy for arguing anymore. I will focus my time and energy on people who support me, and those who need help.

-SoulRiser

The forums are mostly read-only and are in a maintenance/testing phase, before being permanently archived. Please use this time to get the contact details of people you'd like to keep in touch with. My contact details are here.

Please do not make a mirror copy of the forums in their current state - things will still change, and some people have requested to be able to edit or delete some of their personal info.

In MW3 one stinger missile destroys a vehicle. Unless it uses flares.

Also, best rush class:
Weapon: PP90M1
Proficiency: Two Attachments
Attachments: Rapid Fire and Extended Mags
Secondary: Stinger

Lethal Equipment: Semtex
Tactical Equipment: Flashbang

Perk 1: Sleight of Hand Pro
Perk 2: Assassin Pro
Perk 3: Steady Aim Pro

Strike Package: Assault (UAV, Care, Pred) OR Support (AUAV, Stealth Bomber, EMP) OR Specialist.
Death Streak: Martyrdom

I use that all the time and come first or second, EVERY GAME.

Or if you're on a big map and want to camp, grab an AR and put Assassin + Silencer.

Sniping is shit, shotties are OP and nooby.

I snipe a lot with either the MSR or RSASS and I'm pretty decent at it. Ever since COD4 I've been using mostly snipers with an AR class if I don't feel like sniping.

I learned that you can carry 6 sets of armor, 10 weapons, 40 potions, and 30 pounds worth of food, and still run and jump better than the average human.

Sniping is better on PC - way better.
The MSR and ASS50 is better (or whatever it's called).
AR's are okay, but I don't get the point of them, an SMG kills way faster and you can use them for longe range, thus there is almost no use of an AR for me. MK14 is freak though.

AR's are usually more accurate when you're using them at a distance, and the MK14 is awesome; It has low recoil, it's very accurate, and it only takes three shots to kill.
What do you play on? PS3, 360, PC?

It's funny because shotguns in cock of doody literally fire dust, and thus so do absolutely no damage beyond about 15 feet.

Yeah that's true. Except I can use the SMG's just as good long distance, the range really needs to be nerfed.
And yes, the MK14 is awesome indeed.
I play Black Ops on PC and MW3 on PS3.

Which CoD are you on about? In MW3 the shotguns are OP, especially when using the Range or Damage proficiency.

From Sonic:

Evil geniuses who command giant robot armies are somehow incapable of removing the shiny gold rings and strange television monitors that are essentially the one thing keeping you alive.

Water is the most dangerous thing in the entire world.

What I learned from video games:

Trolling your opponent is a valid battle tactic.

There's a magical money fairy counting how many zombies you kill and slips money into your pocket.

RE: What'd you learn from video games?

Holding a drawer in front of your face instantly hides you from monsters.

Throwing knives and saws doesn't do shit.

Monsters don't like tea parties, contrary to many online comics.

Wine bottles hop out of barrels of acid.

Penises look like small scale dolphin flippers.

More so on statues.

When rocks are blocking your path, blow everything up and run like a madman because they're coming for you.

You should be scared of elevators because you never know when they will break down and launch you into the prison, where you will further find out you killed a woman and her daughter then get chased down by three monsters all at once.

Using acid on locks doesn't do anything unless you're at the exact one.

When in extreme doubt, you should stack up everything in front of the door and cower in the corner- only to find you missed the secret entrance.

Invisible water bears will ignore you if you throw oddly strategically placed body parts.

They also lack the ability to break small wooden boxes, but they can bust through doors.
