I'm starting a petition

OK, I've become a member of CND, http://www.cnduk.org/ campaign for nuclear disarmament. (yes, this is in light of USA wanting to put their misiles back in Poland)

I've decided to start my own petition, this is on the way to what I believe may actually be a future career path for me. What I want is the signatures (and a brief paragraph of why you are against nuclear weapons) of 100 people under 18 (i.e with no right to vote)

Is anyone interested?

I recommend you do some research first. The US is putting missile defense systems in Poland.

afaik, missile defence systems shoot missiles at other missiles to destroy them before they come close. Either that or they use lasers, but that might just be my RTS gaming knowledge kicking in. I don't think that exists for real yet

Missile defence usually involve having misslies there. Destroying a missile by using a missile, plus these missile defence things also launch missiles and although it is positioned all wrong it's just to scare the Russians.

sorry, my first language isn't English. Missile, misile sounds better in my head and by the way it is defence. And, I was under the impression of whole misSile vs. missile thing, never hearing of the laser thing before. And it isn't just in protest of the missile defence in Poland, it is also in protest of nuclear weapons in general.

Sorry, they are using missile to use adaingst other missile, but they arn't loaded with explosives, they just run into other missiles while midair.

Ya, sorry. I like my ass to be safe, plus Im already 18. The missiles they put there currently contain no explosives, they work on kenetic energy to detonate the missile as if it hit the ground. Also, no they can not launch a nuke from one of these instilations as it would kill the instilation as well. Besides, launchers for defense missiles differ greatly from offensive missiles and the aiming works on two compleatly diffrent ideas. As for lazers they have experimental planes that are already Swooshing the Whoop with great results.
