To everyone who joined these forums at some point, and got discouraged by the negativity and left after a while (or even got literally scared off): I'm sorry.
I wasn't good enough at encouraging people to be kinder, and removing people who refuse to be kind. Encouraging people is hard, and removing people creates conflict, and I hate conflict... so that's why I wasn't better at it.
I was a very, very sensitive teen. The atmosphere of this forum as it is now, if it had existed in 1996, would probably have upset me far more than it would have helped.
I can handle quite a lot of negativity and even abuse now, but that isn't the point. I want to help people. I want to help the people who need it the most, and I want to help people like the 1996 version of me.
I'm still figuring out the best way to do that, but as it is now, these forums are doing more harm than good, and I can't keep running them.
Thank you to the few people who have tried to understand my point of view so far. I really, really appreciate you guys. You are beautiful people.
Everyone else: If after everything I've said so far, you still don't understand my motivations, I think it's unlikely that you will. We're just too different. Maybe someday in the future it might make sense, but until then, there's no point in arguing about it. I don't have the time or the energy for arguing anymore. I will focus my time and energy on people who support me, and those who need help.

What is wrong with public education-my senior project
While I am still in 8th grade I am planning to have my senior project on public education. I want it to be so good every person in the room agrees with me. I was bored today, so I thought about how to control a population, because that is what school does. Here's the list
How to control people
1. Separate into smaller groups
2. Control and or prevent groupings
3. Assert authority
4. Lead
5. offer something, but give it to them as they sacrifice control
6. Manipulate their emotions
7. Validate yourself
8. Control free speech
9. use conformity to your advantage
10. Award compliance
11. Keep yourself in the loop
12. Enforce your power with force
13. Be thought of as the best and or only way
14. Dis-validate disagreement
School does all those things.
I also have some other fragmented thoughts.....but it's time for bed, so I'll post them tomorrow evening, as I have to report to training soon.
Any ideas to make this presentation better would be highly appreciated.

They''l never let you present it, but you also should add how it censors everything.

Don't say that's what you are going to present. Make up a topic, and if you need to have shit checked from time to time, create a few false items for the project. When the time comes to present your finished product, discard the fake topic and use your real one.
