Alright so I've been thinking about doing a Civcraft like server. Basically there are no rules, other than no hacking or cheating, and the players themselves must enforce rules. Players can do what they desire most, whether that be greifing, building, mining, farming, ect. The plugins would be minimal(although it would be modded). However I don't really have the money for it, but this is just an idea(of course I could do a revival of Dark-Tekk a Tekkit Classic server that I made awhile ago. I could easily move it onto the new Tekkit...)

I was hoping for the opposite; a server that would utilize a wide range of the best plugins, but without mods. In any case, that is also an idea.

You see I like plugins, HOWEVER I feel mods also help complete the game. They allow electricity, wireless redstone(albeit there is a plugin for that, I've had less than good results with it), guns, flying, more worlds, businesses automation, etc. It just adds a bit of fun IMO

We seem to have different interpretations of fun; the convenience some plugins allow (and features that complement vanilla elements) are fun, in my eyes, but mods merely seem to make Minecraft a different game.

Well to be honest I like doing things like Nuclear things, plus war is always fun and mods add new dimension to war in minecraft(like ICBM!)
