Voodlkuz - craxyguy562 - 04-09-2014 02:10 AM I'm making a game called "Voodlkuz". The goal is to earn trophy's by doing stuff. I'm not done with it yet because of one major glitch. The playable character won't stay on the ground, they are able to walk up wall and in the sky. It' reallys annoying. I'm making the game with Scratch so its really hard to figure out the solution to this. I tried googling the answer but it was for platform games. I tried doing "the jetpack girl thing" but I already wrote the walking scripts, and the hair and eyes are separate with their own scripts so it would take forever to redo also "the jetpack girl thing" is for platform games. I'm going to try to share it on a hangout(screenshare) on Friday(April 11, 2014). Hopefully a solution will be found and I will be able to upload it to the internet. ![]() If I don't do the hangout, blame my parents. Voodlkuz - KFC Nyan Cat - 04-09-2014 06:04 AM Try remaking the game on Unity, Multimedia Fusion 2, Games Factory 2, or Game Maker. Seriously, Scratch is more complicated than Game Maker with inferior results. Voodlkuz - Ky - 04-09-2014 06:42 AM You say your character can run on walls? That's a neat glitch! If anything, it means that you can incorporate wallrunning into your game - if you're savvy, it'll make the game all the more creative and challenging. Voodlkuz - Gwedin - 04-09-2014 01:36 PM Interesting. Do you see yourself doing more complicated game development in the future at all (I've been screwing around with the Unity engine lately and have had a fair bit of fun doing so ![]() |
