It baffles me how people in my age group, 14 or 15 years old, like posts like these. We were no older than three by the conclusion of the 90's, yet, we act like we know everything about the 90's. Yes, while we are technically "90's kids', it's not like we really lived much of a life then. Like, 75% of things in the late 90's were carried over to the early 2000's, a time we'd have more of a recollection of.

I also hate the ones revolving around social issues and dating advice.

I think the difference is in the 90's there were very very few ways we (im 24) could watch anything other than what was currently on TV. In the 2000s the internet was trailblazing and TV stuff like OnDemand was coming out. So anyone can essentially watch most shows from most time periods.
