To everyone who joined these forums at some point, and got discouraged by the negativity and left after a while (or even got literally scared off): I'm sorry.
I wasn't good enough at encouraging people to be kinder, and removing people who refuse to be kind. Encouraging people is hard, and removing people creates conflict, and I hate conflict... so that's why I wasn't better at it.
I was a very, very sensitive teen. The atmosphere of this forum as it is now, if it had existed in 1996, would probably have upset me far more than it would have helped.
I can handle quite a lot of negativity and even abuse now, but that isn't the point. I want to help people. I want to help the people who need it the most, and I want to help people like the 1996 version of me.
I'm still figuring out the best way to do that, but as it is now, these forums are doing more harm than good, and I can't keep running them.
Thank you to the few people who have tried to understand my point of view so far. I really, really appreciate you guys. You are beautiful people.
Everyone else: If after everything I've said so far, you still don't understand my motivations, I think it's unlikely that you will. We're just too different. Maybe someday in the future it might make sense, but until then, there's no point in arguing about it. I don't have the time or the energy for arguing anymore. I will focus my time and energy on people who support me, and those who need help.

I personally hate all this "no homo" shit kids always say. For example, I saw this guy talking to his friend, and saw him saying, "I'll call you later to make plans, no homo" or "Yo, you wanna hang out, no homo." I'm not even gay and it pisses me off a lot. I facepalm whenever I hear it.

They think your odd or a nerd if you actually like women for personality or tell them that theres more to do than that.
and lucky for me I haven't met anyone who does that no homo stuff yet.

Oh shit. I am so happy you guys all have the same dickheads at your schools (sorry, I just realized how mean that sounds). I often go through fazes of thinking 'fuck it, why don't I just try and fit in so I don't have to go through this shit with people i hate' but threads like these reminds me that I am NOT a freak for hating pretty much everyone I go to school with.
Going back to the original post, I think teens are so stupid because of a) The Media and b) The fact that schools are so fucking boring that most kids don't want to ever obtain intelligence.
No popular kids TV contains genuinely intelligent people for kids to model themselves off. Because let's face it- at this age kids need people to look up to while their still trying to work out who they are. TV shows and films about high schools usually has a 'geek' character, who is funny, but no one wants to be them. No one thinks, 'oh, that kid's cool, I think I'll be like them'. No one likes the geek, or takes him seriously. The stupid characters are the favorites and the ones kids model themselves off.

I like all your points, but consider another angle: they have no taste in media. The girls all like shit like Hannah Montana, the Jonas Brothers and other Disney crap they systematically pump out. The COOL girls, however, are the ones that listen to music i've never heard before. Oh, and anime.
The boys? The rly retarted ones keep praising Halo 3 and every Call of Duty Game after number 4. I've played Halo (but not CoD) and I consider them good games, but not the BEST EVAR. There was this one kid that said the next game I get has TOTALLY GOTTA BE COD5 OMGOMGOMGOMGOKMGOOHJDGNJHGNBAHJZSBNGF!!!!!!!!!!!!111111111111111111111111 Instead, I got Destroy All Humans 3. Or Left 4 Dead. Or Fallout 3, I forget. The cool boys listen to stuff like Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, and play games like Half-Life. There's this one kid that does listen to real rock, but thinks that "Half-Life sucks".

thats one thing i havnt heard. most kids i know say call of duty 5 sucks. they would much rather just play call of duty 4

My peers are afraid of me because I use big words, and I look angry all of the time. I tell them they're asinine idiots that are being used by the system, but most of what I say is drowned out because I said the word "ass."

Oh god, I know how it feels. I'm one who's considered a "nerd" and "is gay" because my pants don't hang halfway down my ass. I suck because I don't listen to rap, own 34 ATVs (exaggerate), only like sex with girls, or have never done pot. I say, fuck 'em. I am me. Not some conform. I wear soccer shirts, not football. I listen to rock, not rap. I am different, so I MUST suck.
