Correct way of posting recipes

I know it's up to personal preference, however it would make it easier for me if you could post it in a certain way, so that I can post in the recipes topic with further ease.

Incorrect:

Hidden stuff:
Figs (6 will do)
* either goat or feta cheese (your choice)
* Bacon
* Toothpicks

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cut an "x" shape half way down
into the top of the figs so that they can be opened. Stuff with the cheese of your choice. Wrap the bacon
around the figs and secure with a toothpick. Bake for 5 to 8 minutes, until cheese is gooey.

It has no order, nor a title for that matter.

Correct:

Hidden stuff:
Figs with Berries and Honey Mousse

Serves 4 people

Code:
Raspberries - 1pt.
Figs        - 1pt.
Honey       - 6oz.
Egg yolks   - 4
Salt        - TT
Heavy Cream - 1pt.
Mint        - Garnish

1) Pick through the berries, do NOT rinse them as it will dilute thier flavor.
2) Rinse the Figs and cut them in half leaving the stems attached unless otherwise prefered.
3) To make the mousse , wisk the honey, yolks and salt together in a bowl over a sauce pan of barely simmering water. Whisk continuosly for eight minutes. After five it should begin to thicken and become creamy. Whisk vigorously until the mousse leaves thick ribbons on its surface when pured over itself. Set aside to cool. Its texture when cool should be sticky and stiff.
4) Whisk 1 floz of cream into the mousse until it lossens.
5) Whip remaining cream until firm and fold into the mousse. Whisk. The texture should now be light and creamy.
6) Loosely arrange the figs and other fruits on a plate and serve with the mousse.

It has a title that describes the dish. It has ingredients clearly separated from the rest of the recipe. There are steps as well. It also has a clearly defined recipe (this much of this, this much of that, and about this much of that over there) as opposed to an undefined recipe (this, that and that over there).

I would really appreciate if you could follow these guidelines:

[ hidden ]Name of Recipe

Number of Servings

[ code ]Ingredient 1 - Number of/how many of the ingredient.
Repeat as much as required[ / code ]

1) Instruction one, with warnings intact
Repeat as much as required[ / hidden ]

This is now a sticky.

Whilst some work diligently there are those who ask why. I am one of them

Re: Correct way of posting recipes

Hi all ...

I am trying to find the best way to upload hundreds of recipes to a new DNN 4 site. There does not seem to be any commercial or other Recipe Module available, so I started with the repository but it does not seem to be the best bet. If I did use the repository, I could upload a word or text document of the recipe, but I would prefer something ready to go, so people could click on a link and easily pull up the recipe...

Some sites made custom solutions - http://www.seapak.com/Default.aspx?tabid=53 but I guess I was hoping to find the best option .. ;/

So far this is what I have.. http://www.cupalime.com/Recipes/tabid/73/Default.aspx

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks!
