To everyone who joined these forums at some point, and got discouraged by the negativity and left after a while (or even got literally scared off): I'm sorry.
I wasn't good enough at encouraging people to be kinder, and removing people who refuse to be kind. Encouraging people is hard, and removing people creates conflict, and I hate conflict... so that's why I wasn't better at it.
I was a very, very sensitive teen. The atmosphere of this forum as it is now, if it had existed in 1996, would probably have upset me far more than it would have helped.
I can handle quite a lot of negativity and even abuse now, but that isn't the point. I want to help people. I want to help the people who need it the most, and I want to help people like the 1996 version of me.
I'm still figuring out the best way to do that, but as it is now, these forums are doing more harm than good, and I can't keep running them.
Thank you to the few people who have tried to understand my point of view so far. I really, really appreciate you guys. You are beautiful people.
Everyone else: If after everything I've said so far, you still don't understand my motivations, I think it's unlikely that you will. We're just too different. Maybe someday in the future it might make sense, but until then, there's no point in arguing about it. I don't have the time or the energy for arguing anymore. I will focus my time and energy on people who support me, and those who need help.

Alright, I'm about to do a quick write-up from the perspective of a female character. Tell me if I fail or rock. Also, it's in Journal format, so, yeah.

Day Djinn Two, Month Svy, Year Twenty of the Shining Dynasty
Dropless, my master, has become very strange as of late. Ever since he visited that lone grave, he's been really subdued. He's a battle-caster, or so he calls himself, but he's been focusing more on the battle aspect of the job title. It's strange.
I guess it's obvious that I'm worried. Ever since Trent and I briefly menaced the town of Animod and were defeated by him, we've taken to being his apprentices. What's worse is that my brother sees my master as a perfect-entity. Maybe I'm just losing it, since he started honing his scythe styles.
He claimed to detest it, calling it an instrument of death.
I lately wonder why he took a sudden kindling to the weapon. He practices it with the golems and has the boreal hound as his familiar. It's as if he's preparing to enter hell itself and conquer it.

Day Mander Two, Month Svy, Year Twenty of the Shining Dynasty
Today a man-dragon came to see my master today. Neither were particularly thrilled to see each other from what I could tell, but before he left, he told me to research half-spirits and to try and keep Trent away from him.
The boreal hound accompanied them. I'm writing this before I research half-spirits. Perhaps I'll get a reason as to why my master is being so strange?
I just researched half-spirits. My master HAS been to hell! I'm suspecting that it was the man-dragon that caused him to be this way.
According to the research I came upon, the lowest beings of hell are able to send spirits who still cling to life back to the world of the living, at a price. This price is usually them wreaking havoc in the world of the living. If they fail to comply, they disappear, after a time.
Only the deal-strikers can give their full spirits back to the world. I think my master is using his scythe as a reference to his incomplete body and mind. I have no idea why the boreal hound is accompanying him. Perhaps that is also his reference that he still lives?

Day Lumin Four, Month Drei, Year Twenty of the Shining Dynasty
It's been sometime since I've written in this journal.
When master left, he left an incomplete being. I'm glad Dropless is back as a full being. When he returned, he called out, "I cast aside the tool of death, and embrace again my life." He also spoke to Trent.
He told Trent and I that while he was a half spirit, he explored hell, and found a Wise One. Trent had been trying to become a greater sorcerer with their wisdoms. He called it a lost oppurtune since he was whole again as a living human.
Trent gladly replied that, as far as he was concerned, Dropless was the final Wise One and that he would go back to studying magic. The combination of magic, life, and death had inspired him.
