To everyone who joined these forums at some point, and got discouraged by the negativity and left after a while (or even got literally scared off): I'm sorry.
I wasn't good enough at encouraging people to be kinder, and removing people who refuse to be kind. Encouraging people is hard, and removing people creates conflict, and I hate conflict... so that's why I wasn't better at it.
I was a very, very sensitive teen. The atmosphere of this forum as it is now, if it had existed in 1996, would probably have upset me far more than it would have helped.
I can handle quite a lot of negativity and even abuse now, but that isn't the point. I want to help people. I want to help the people who need it the most, and I want to help people like the 1996 version of me.
I'm still figuring out the best way to do that, but as it is now, these forums are doing more harm than good, and I can't keep running them.
Thank you to the few people who have tried to understand my point of view so far. I really, really appreciate you guys. You are beautiful people.
Everyone else: If after everything I've said so far, you still don't understand my motivations, I think it's unlikely that you will. We're just too different. Maybe someday in the future it might make sense, but until then, there's no point in arguing about it. I don't have the time or the energy for arguing anymore. I will focus my time and energy on people who support me, and those who need help.

Deadliest Warrior
It's on Spike TV. Epic series, compares too about equal warriors from history and how well they'd fare against each other. There's everything from gel dummies with organs inside to firing ranges for grenades. It's fucking awesome.

It's a pretty good show, but I want to know if they put the warriors fighting style in the simulation software as well. If not, they might as well call the show "Deadliest Weapons".
I'd also like to see them match up warriors from different shows like:
Apache vs Ninja
Viking vs Spartan
etc.

Yeah, I'd like to see Apache vs Ninja. I did feel that the Spartan had a huge unfair advantage.
On tomorrow's matchup, I have the Green Berets over the Spetznaz.

Yeah, that Spartan's armor and shield was a massive advantage over the ninja, but only a really stupid ninja would go toe to toe with a Spartan anyway.
I don't know much about Green Beret or Spetznaz so I can't say who I think will win.

The Spetznaz have awesome knives. The blade is spring loaded and shoots out of the handle like a dart when you push a button.

I maintain that a ninja with an IQ above 70 wouldn't have tried fighting a fully equipped Spartan like that, and would have just snuck up on him and assassinated him, like ninjas should damn well do.
Also, the Spetznaz vs. Green Berets thing was kind of stupid. They didn't take into account the whole problem of modern gunfights being a matter of luck, training, and the forces themselves.

Green Berets lost. :( I still say the Green Berets would've won in real life because:
Their training is more lifelike
The producers didn't want it to seem that they gave Americans an unfair advantage
They were wearing Kevlar, unlike the Russians
They'd have reinforcements and air support
An entrenching tool is not a fucking weapon, they'd use a Kabar knife instead

Yeah, so far their wrong conclusions were that a Spartan would kill a Ninja (bullshit), and that the Mafia would take out the Yakuza (Maybe in five on five, but in the long term, no. Bullshit conclusion).
When are they gonna come out with another season? I loved the show.

The Ninjas originally fought the Samurai at night using farm tools as weapons. The medieval Samurai had slightly better armor than the ancient Spartans did.
