I think you may of misinterpreted what happened, so I'm not going to flame you for it (not too much, anyway).

This teacher has been giving me shit for two years and I always played it calm. I never threw tantrums like she did, I instead chose to be the one in control. Maybe if you knew her and actually understood the situation, you wouldn't have such an "angelic" impression of said teacher.

I hate arguments, especially over trivial reasons. I didn't just decide one day "I'm going to try and be a smartass just to piss off teachers!"

No. I just happen to be a good talker, so when a teacher who has (pretty much) verbally harrassed me for two years straight calls ME a smartass for finally standing up for myself, I get mad.

And that's justified in my view.

Also, I'm trying to skip art class for the rest of year, which admittedly sounds hard but I'm willing to try.

I haven't gone to her class since but she could easily ring home and tell my parents I've been skipping.

I'm pretty sure my parents will be on my side once they hear the full story, however.

Other teachers asked if I was OK and all, but I had good reason to get partially pissed. I'm still not the type to get angry, but I don't like getting called names by people who are supposedly "respectable" and "mature" (*gigglesnort*).

In a lighter note, my friends all high fived me, which was nice. Plus I had to do a speech (and I hate public speaking) which went successfully! Yay!
