RIP School Survival Forums
August 2001 - June 2017

The School Survival Forums are permanently retired. If you need help with quitting school, unsupportive parents or anything else, there is a list of resources on the Help Page.

To everyone who joined these forums at some point, and got discouraged by the negativity and left after a while (or even got literally scared off): I'm sorry.

I wasn't good enough at encouraging people to be kinder, and removing people who refuse to be kind. Encouraging people is hard, and removing people creates conflict, and I hate conflict... so that's why I wasn't better at it.

I was a very, very sensitive teen. The atmosphere of this forum as it is now, if it had existed in 1996, would probably have upset me far more than it would have helped.

I can handle quite a lot of negativity and even abuse now, but that isn't the point. I want to help people. I want to help the people who need it the most, and I want to help people like the 1996 version of me.

I'm still figuring out the best way to do that, but as it is now, these forums are doing more harm than good, and I can't keep running them.

Thank you to the few people who have tried to understand my point of view so far. I really, really appreciate you guys. You are beautiful people.

Everyone else: If after everything I've said so far, you still don't understand my motivations, I think it's unlikely that you will. We're just too different. Maybe someday in the future it might make sense, but until then, there's no point in arguing about it. I don't have the time or the energy for arguing anymore. I will focus my time and energy on people who support me, and those who need help.

The forums are mostly read-only and are in a maintenance/testing phase, before being permanently archived. Please use this time to get the contact details of people you'd like to keep in touch with. Send me a message if you'd like to keep in touch with me & Steve.

Please do not make a mirror copy of the forums in their current state - things will still change, and some people have requested to be able to edit or delete some of their personal info.

The Anti-School Riot-Part 2-"Officer Down"

Author's Note: Again, my grammar isn't the best and school nightmares have become my most frequent dream.

Jack ran as fast as he could, hiding from whatever police cars came. He heard the horrifying voice of the police, sirens, and he caught a glimpse of a student being shackled. He kept running away from the school, then resting for one minute every five minutes. He ran about four blocks away from the school before deciding that he was safe from the police. Unfortunately for him, police that where transporting a few kids to county jail saw him. He wasn't in the mood to go to county jail, so when the police got out of the car, he grabbed the arm of one of the armed police. He had learned a technique called the inescapable grip, where you hold the subject's wrist up while pulling their elbow down. He normally wouldn't do this to anyone, but he didn't really want any of those kids to go to county jail today. He took the taser, tasered the other officer, and unshackled all of the kids in the van. He kept running away.
Eventually, he arrived at his house. Before getting near it, he scanned the place for any police activity. He ran as fast as he could and made it home. No one was there, but he could see police cars near his house. He saw the lights and some police. The officers that he subdued could have regained consciousness and reported what had happened, because now the officers had guns drawn instead of tasers. He ran upstairs to his room and closed the door, switched on his computer, and checked the school survival forums for new posts and threads. But then, he heard some police kick down the door. They ran through the house and he left his room. "GET ON THE GROUND NOW!!!", they screamed at the top of their lungs."HANDS BEHIND YOUR BACK!!!"
"Alright", Jack said
"You are under arrest for assault, battery on a officer, truancy, rioting, and walking through a park".
Jack looked at the car, in complete shock and fear. He is going to county jail.

To be continued...

I HATE my school. I'd rather die than go to school for another 6 years.Fu

The Anti-School Riot-Part 2-"Officer Down"

I can see this play out in film or real life. Still I really want to find non-violent ways to change things, but I also think it's really important to write stories and I'm looking forward to more.
