It looks to me like the only white people are staff. What's the point of this observation? Maybe white people cannot effectively manage black schools.

You'd think they'd have thought of actually getting people familiar with the issues of these schools? Of course not.

I honestly think it's almost impossible to find people with the required education, ability to pass the certification exams, familiarity with the issues of these schools, and a willingness to accept the pay and working conditions.

Not many people work hard as hell to get out of the ghetto just to return to it for 40 hours a week for a fraction of the income they could earn elsewhere.

That's why the schools are full of the leftover incompetents from suburbia. Sure they can pass the tests. They were written by suburban whites for suburban whites.

If blacks governed their own neighborhood schools the discipline would be brutal. Instead it's passed off to apathetic whites who may have cared thousands of profanity laden tirades ago. You can't destroy a worker's soul and expect the good intentions to survive. Nothing survives.

The kid who pulled the suicide victim's head smashing into the wall... How much abuse do you think he already inflicted on his peers and his teachers? Now let's watch a video of a teacher who had to call a cop and laugh at the absurdity of the kid being dragged out of class. Because those 30 second clips tell the whole story, you know.

To be honest this is sort of a good argument against compulsory education; a lot of kids are headed into an environment where things are most likely to get worse. There's a reason why the impoverished schools stay poor.

I'm staying out of the racial debate, but I personally think this kind of thing is way too common. I think school is the cause of a lot of depression which usually evolves into suicide. There was, if I recall correctly, the case of Amanda Todd, who killed herself because of bullies. And I think the hacker group Anonymous raised a shit-storm over it and exposed the guy who bullied her. But this is an old case -- I can't remember.

It's one of the strongest arguments against compulsory education. The environments in public schools are horrendous.
