Lightbulb What's the best way to train work discipline out of school?

It's in law that school must train its students for the adulthood and for formal jobs. That's why they do most part of what they do, and it annoys us.
Can you tell me how does it work in HS and SDE, because I need this for a counter argumentMwahaha.

Most high schools fail at seriously teaching kids serious skills in real life. I know this because god damn, the real world is so damn difficult.

If you want I can write you an entire argument.

Somehow I question how well school has prepared us for adulthood. A lot of young people these days don't want to take on adult responsibilities. And as a young person myself it's not so much that I don't want to but I question how ready I am.

If schools weren't so busy preparing kids for college they might not need college anyway.
