To everyone who joined these forums at some point, and got discouraged by the negativity and left after a while (or even got literally scared off): I'm sorry.

I wasn't good enough at encouraging people to be kinder, and removing people who refuse to be kind. Encouraging people is hard, and removing people creates conflict, and I hate conflict... so that's why I wasn't better at it.

I was a very, very sensitive teen. The atmosphere of this forum as it is now, if it had existed in 1996, would probably have upset me far more than it would have helped.

I can handle quite a lot of negativity and even abuse now, but that isn't the point. I want to help people. I want to help the people who need it the most, and I want to help people like the 1996 version of me.

I'm still figuring out the best way to do that, but as it is now, these forums are doing more harm than good, and I can't keep running them.

Thank you to the few people who have tried to understand my point of view so far. I really, really appreciate you guys. You are beautiful people.

Everyone else: If after everything I've said so far, you still don't understand my motivations, I think it's unlikely that you will. We're just too different. Maybe someday in the future it might make sense, but until then, there's no point in arguing about it. I don't have the time or the energy for arguing anymore. I will focus my time and energy on people who support me, and those who need help.

Im scared

Hey guys i just wanted to ask for tips ... im 7th grade and when the year is over i wanna go to a diffrent school. But im scared what if i get bellow B?? I really wanna go to another school.Fu
I know what u will comment ''just learn better'' well im actually pressing to max brain power and still... im getting alwaays C . The reason i want to go to the other school is because the other people in this one are bullies and they are stupid.. not by mind they are getting B and A but... they dont know even english they dont know whats a meme or steam they are just that guy that when u enter the inn u dont look at because he doesnt draw attention even when he tries to. And when i tell them something like a months or two ago when poor harambe died i tolled them
and they sayed who the fuck is harambe why should we care?Cuckoo
i was mind blown they live under a rock... Another reason is that my sister was in that school and she met nice people and the school is just soo pretty...

You're not alone. Middle school is usually pretty shitty. Don't let grades choose how intelligent you feel you are, as they don't. I don't have much advice for everything else though, so sorry about that.

A lot of people in middle school don't know about the news so they don't know about Harambe.

Just be happy you're not failing. If you're struggling in school. Just try to remember the stuff you "learned" (had powerwashed into your brain) from previous years. That's what I do and I get straight A's. Good luck in the future.

P.S. It isn't any better when you're smart. the teacher just sends you to the back of the class to read for half the class Sleep

I think I can infer that you're afraid another school might not want a transfer who gets Cs, and I totally understand that feeling. While it's definitely not foolproof, try to go for a school that chooses students by lottery. You might not be able to transfer mid school year, (or maybe you can, but I don't know) but with that system the deciding factor won't be your grades.
If you can't get into a school that chooses by lottery, then here's what you can do- Try to impress whoever might be interviewing you. It's normally not too hard. Just act enthusiastic, say an advanced word or two, and don't state your political beliefs. I can even help you out finding advanced vocabulary and using it; I just need to know what you're looking for.
