To everyone who joined these forums at some point, and got discouraged by the negativity and left after a while (or even got literally scared off): I'm sorry.
I wasn't good enough at encouraging people to be kinder, and removing people who refuse to be kind. Encouraging people is hard, and removing people creates conflict, and I hate conflict... so that's why I wasn't better at it.
I was a very, very sensitive teen. The atmosphere of this forum as it is now, if it had existed in 1996, would probably have upset me far more than it would have helped.
I can handle quite a lot of negativity and even abuse now, but that isn't the point. I want to help people. I want to help the people who need it the most, and I want to help people like the 1996 version of me.
I'm still figuring out the best way to do that, but as it is now, these forums are doing more harm than good, and I can't keep running them.
Thank you to the few people who have tried to understand my point of view so far. I really, really appreciate you guys. You are beautiful people.
Everyone else: If after everything I've said so far, you still don't understand my motivations, I think it's unlikely that you will. We're just too different. Maybe someday in the future it might make sense, but until then, there's no point in arguing about it. I don't have the time or the energy for arguing anymore. I will focus my time and energy on people who support me, and those who need help.

I believe a good many students have sexual thoughts about their teachers. The proximity, the age of the students, and the relationship between student and teacher tends to make them lean in this direction.

Very risky (for a teacher). Honestly you would have to be a complete idiot to fuck one of your students, unless we're talking about college, I believe professors can be in a relationship with a student as long as they are currently not in the class.

My college student handbook has rules on it. If the professor is in your class, it's not allowed. However, they also write that it's generally "not recommended" that a professor and student have any sort of relationship and that the college can take action if they wanted to(even if the professor isn't in any class the student takes).
It doesn't exactly happen very often in my opinion. It's perhaps more likely a younger female to older male professor, rather than younger male to older female professor(older doesn't have to be elder)

I'm fine with 30ish. 40 would be the maximum limit(and that'd be pushing it).
The interesting thing is that when it's a young male-older female, it isn't as "postive" when it's an older male-young female.
I guess the idea is "Man spread seed. Man need fertile women. Man have young women. Young women make babies"

Looking for is a bit different than accepting the age difference. I have no probelms with age difference(up to the point I mentioned), but I wouldnt actively see just that age group. Its a passive interest rather than "I wanna 30ish lady!".

Nah. It is a natural occurence. Its quite common for a student to fall in love with the older mature wiser teacher. Kinda happens when admiration and respect are also incorrectly defined as love by a young immature naive mind.
