RIP School Survival Forums
August 2001 - June 2017

The School Survival Forums are permanently retired. If you need help with quitting school, unsupportive parents or anything else, there is a list of resources on the Help Page.

If you want to write about your experiences in school, you can write on our blog.

To everyone who joined these forums at some point, and got discouraged by the negativity and left after a while (or even got literally scared off): I'm sorry.

I wasn't good enough at encouraging people to be kinder, and removing people who refuse to be kind. Encouraging people is hard, and removing people creates conflict, and I hate conflict... so that's why I wasn't better at it.

I was a very, very sensitive teen. The atmosphere of this forum as it is now, if it had existed in 1996, would probably have upset me far more than it would have helped.

I can handle quite a lot of negativity and even abuse now, but that isn't the point. I want to help people. I want to help the people who need it the most, and I want to help people like the 1996 version of me.

I'm still figuring out the best way to do that, but as it is now, these forums are doing more harm than good, and I can't keep running them.

Thank you to the few people who have tried to understand my point of view so far. I really, really appreciate you guys. You are beautiful people.

Everyone else: If after everything I've said so far, you still don't understand my motivations, I think it's unlikely that you will. We're just too different. Maybe someday in the future it might make sense, but until then, there's no point in arguing about it. I don't have the time or the energy for arguing anymore. I will focus my time and energy on people who support me, and those who need help.

-SoulRiser

The forums are mostly read-only and are in a maintenance/testing phase, before being permanently archived. Please use this time to get the contact details of people you'd like to keep in touch with. My contact details are here.

Please do not make a mirror copy of the forums in their current state - things will still change, and some people have requested to be able to edit or delete some of their personal info.

Running of the Nether Fleshstalkers

I think this should have it's own thread since more than 2 countries are participating, you can move it back to Sorrowglen thread if you think it should be there.

(I will write this out in hours, like Hour 1 of the Race, Hour 2 etc, cuz i don't want to write out the entire thing)

Hour 1

The day of fun known as the Running of the Nether Fleshstalkers has been commenced!

It is a gloomy day, as normal, in Sorrowglen, and shadow fog has beset among the contestants and around most of western Sorrowglen. The Fleshstalkers are currently being prodded into their pen at the end of the raceway. Once the participants say their last rites and sign the waivers provided, the race can commence. After reading the waiver, several faint and one dies from a heart attack, they are properly dragged off the field into the nearest of 300 ambulances rented for the occasion.

Let the race begin! Shouts the Grand Herald of Deinen, and he fires a golden pistol into the crowd, killing one of Socialistan's prisoners. The 75, they decided they wanted less survivors, Fleshstalkers instantly jump 200ft out of their starting pen into the crowd of participants, flailing their scythe-hands around wildly, decapitating 200 people in under 3 seconds, including the loli-cat girl who was being raped by the tentacle chair, and leaving another 150 on the ground with deep lacerations. This is all normal and happens everytime, the participants are now entering the "run" phase, where they get 15 minutes to run as the Fleshstalkers eat their kills, the children just love this part. One by one the Fleshstalkers finish their meals, and since they have been starved for a week before this began, they are still hungry for more. The first one that gets to the crowd is taken on by 10 of Sorrowglen's participants, including the winner from last year, Harzed Gloomrin, who ripped off a scythe hand and dropkicked the fleshstalker to the ground, before using his strength to throw it like a frisbee into the mass of runners, resulting in more casualties. As the runners get tired, they are dropped water bottles from a Shadow Rider above, some empty, some filled with poisoned water, and some with regular water, he only drops 1000 into the crowd for them to fight over as the spectators watch in delight.

Current amount of people left

- 30 Drugged up people from Halogenland
- 2650 residents from Sorrowglen
- 10 criminals, 3 lesbians, and the tentacle chair from Innernet
- 19 "volunteers" from Socialistan

Re: Running of the Nether Fleshstalkers

sOrry for not updating in a while, my Internet at home crapped out, I'm at my dad's house and the only thing I can use to access the Internet is my iPod, thus slow typing, so I won't be able to finish writing out the rest of the race, but I'll say that Innernet won the race with one of their participants heads rolling across the finish line, with a CSSR prisoner in second
