Need help!

It's only one week into the school year, and I already know I'm going to hate it. I have a teacher that can't teach, and expects us to fully complete homework on things she literally has not taught. I've looked around, and couldn't find anything. Does anyone have any recommendations? It's McDougal Littell Algebra 2. I can't drop the class at this point, and homeschooling is not an option.

Trying and talking to the teacher about teaching the stuff MIGHT work, but that's a rather big if. But it's worth a chance. It should be tried before transferring to a different teacher's class.

If there is another Algebra 2 teacher, try transferring to that teacher's class. It might be better. You aren't dropping the class, just getting a different teacher.

schoolsux's countdown until school ends:

177 days until i get out of freshman year (aka hell)
1280 days until I get out of prison (aka school)

(as of november 28, 2016)

also Fu school
