I've been rather into a game called AirMech lately. It's an action-RTS in the purest sense, where you play as a mecha which can switch between air and ground forms (hence the name). You go around capturing factories, where you can pick up units you've built. It's really fun. Free to play, but not pay to win. You can buy anything that affects gameplay with in-game credits.

Well, the basic goal is to destroy your opponent's fortress. Barring backdoor shenanigans, the way to do this is to push to it. There are numerous outposts scattered between the two team's fortresses which they fight over. Control of outposts give advantages, such as free units or reduced build time.
