To everyone who joined these forums at some point, and got discouraged by the negativity and left after a while (or even got literally scared off): I'm sorry.
I wasn't good enough at encouraging people to be kinder, and removing people who refuse to be kind. Encouraging people is hard, and removing people creates conflict, and I hate conflict... so that's why I wasn't better at it.
I was a very, very sensitive teen. The atmosphere of this forum as it is now, if it had existed in 1996, would probably have upset me far more than it would have helped.
I can handle quite a lot of negativity and even abuse now, but that isn't the point. I want to help people. I want to help the people who need it the most, and I want to help people like the 1996 version of me.
I'm still figuring out the best way to do that, but as it is now, these forums are doing more harm than good, and I can't keep running them.
Thank you to the few people who have tried to understand my point of view so far. I really, really appreciate you guys. You are beautiful people.
Everyone else: If after everything I've said so far, you still don't understand my motivations, I think it's unlikely that you will. We're just too different. Maybe someday in the future it might make sense, but until then, there's no point in arguing about it. I don't have the time or the energy for arguing anymore. I will focus my time and energy on people who support me, and those who need help.

So, in my history classes I am at that part of world history where mostly America and USSR 'ruled the world'. I was wondering and I didn't ask to my teacher yet but, do you guys think that if USSR wouldn't have implemented their 'specific' orders/laws to their people (who knows history ,knows what I am talking about) and if the spread of communism around some countries would be stopped back into that years by the help of America and other European countries, the world today would be different in a good way? And in which way you think?

Well the USSR wasnt just ideologically driven, though definitely ideologically motivated. The basic level is the fact that a natural balance of power exists between states. I have a feeling is the US was dominant, the majority of the world would probably have been left alone, though any nations showing signs of socialism or communism would be crushed and become corporate puppets ruled by vicious dictators.

Well ... Portugal basically was left alone when the dictator had power . Later, it was proved wrong because Portugal couldn't live without the help of other countries.

Well, we didn't need Communism to ruin our stuff. We spread the "in God we trust" feces all over our currency and stuff because we were afraid of Communism. I shouldn't have to use money that's against my beliefs.

I love capitalism, actually I don't like it. It's just that I'm living under the system right now, If It wasn't for other people protesting or asserting their rights. I would be probably be starving right now. It seems to me everything in our lives is slowly being taken away with wages becoming stagnant and college tuition skyrocketing. Its kind of depressing and sad.

It wouldn't have been better at all. Sure, there was a looming threat of nuclear war that our grandparents lived in constant fear of, but the feud between the US and the Soviet Union created competition, which motivates advancement. The moon landing would've been delayed a couple of years at best and a whole lot of house appliances wouldn't be as advanced as it is today.
These are just a few my uncoordinated and incoherent thoughts regarding the subject.
