To everyone who joined these forums at some point, and got discouraged by the negativity and left after a while (or even got literally scared off): I'm sorry.

I wasn't good enough at encouraging people to be kinder, and removing people who refuse to be kind. Encouraging people is hard, and removing people creates conflict, and I hate conflict... so that's why I wasn't better at it.

I was a very, very sensitive teen. The atmosphere of this forum as it is now, if it had existed in 1996, would probably have upset me far more than it would have helped.

I can handle quite a lot of negativity and even abuse now, but that isn't the point. I want to help people. I want to help the people who need it the most, and I want to help people like the 1996 version of me.

I'm still figuring out the best way to do that, but as it is now, these forums are doing more harm than good, and I can't keep running them.

Thank you to the few people who have tried to understand my point of view so far. I really, really appreciate you guys. You are beautiful people.

Everyone else: If after everything I've said so far, you still don't understand my motivations, I think it's unlikely that you will. We're just too different. Maybe someday in the future it might make sense, but until then, there's no point in arguing about it. I don't have the time or the energy for arguing anymore. I will focus my time and energy on people who support me, and those who need help.

iPad 4 screen replacement issue (HELP!!)

My iPad had a screen replacement recently and now it glitches like crazy, won't respond to touch easily, and spams random shit without me touching it. I NEED HELP!! I need my iPad for music, it's all I have and I'm dirt broke.

Go back to whoever replaced screen. Obviously there was a screw up in the repair.

iPad 4 screen replacement issue (HELP!!)

Yeah, third parties don't always work. My dad once tried fixing my Kindle Fire, and he failed. As in I couldn't touch 2/4 of the sides on a Kindle. There is no home button, so I had to shut off the device (when I had it in screen lock) to get to the home menu. That sucked. I suggest you go back to the company who fixed it and tell them to fix it for free/heavy discount.

I have the same kind of problem with my iPad. What kind of use is a 16 gigabyte tablet anyway?

I have a 16 GB iPad Air 2 after I got rid of the Fire, and I really regret not getting the 128 GB kind. At least it was double the space of the old Fire. A 16 GB tablet is virtually useless unless all that person uses it for is for doing things on the internet (and don't want the full desktop/laptop experience).

wut.

I only use my tablet for streaming movies...internet...and to install movies n files to it in case I need em.

My tablet has 30.47gb(16gb device, 16gb sd card which is actually not 16 but 14.47gb).

In fact, why u ppl using the inferior apple product? That shit can't even take extra space. At least for my Samsung I can just buy a SD card and pop it in for more space.

i know somebody who took it to an apple store and increased the storage on their iPad. They can add space, it just costs alot.

Thus impractical when you could buy an SD card, on top of which can be switched in and out allowing for storage of specific data.
