To everyone who joined these forums at some point, and got discouraged by the negativity and left after a while (or even got literally scared off): I'm sorry.
I wasn't good enough at encouraging people to be kinder, and removing people who refuse to be kind. Encouraging people is hard, and removing people creates conflict, and I hate conflict... so that's why I wasn't better at it.
I was a very, very sensitive teen. The atmosphere of this forum as it is now, if it had existed in 1996, would probably have upset me far more than it would have helped.
I can handle quite a lot of negativity and even abuse now, but that isn't the point. I want to help people. I want to help the people who need it the most, and I want to help people like the 1996 version of me.
I'm still figuring out the best way to do that, but as it is now, these forums are doing more harm than good, and I can't keep running them.
Thank you to the few people who have tried to understand my point of view so far. I really, really appreciate you guys. You are beautiful people.
Everyone else: If after everything I've said so far, you still don't understand my motivations, I think it's unlikely that you will. We're just too different. Maybe someday in the future it might make sense, but until then, there's no point in arguing about it. I don't have the time or the energy for arguing anymore. I will focus my time and energy on people who support me, and those who need help.

Just a heads up
Alright so earlier today, a user mentioned that it seems that some of their posts seem to be deleted(and pointed to an example, in which the Moderator Logs show no deletion of posts of that thread, and this was made easier by the fact that it had was approved via a Moderator Helper.
In the Order of Most likely, to least likely here is a list of possible explanations:
- There is a bug in the version of MyBB that SS uses, that makes posts seem like they were submitted when they weren't
- There is a bug on in the version of MyBB that SS uses, that causes posts to disappear
- An Error on the User's end
- The User lied
- There is a user (or usergroup) that can delete posts without it being logged on the Moderator Log
If this has happened to you recently, please post in this thread stating the name of the thread, when you posted it(a rough estimate is needed), and what the post said(if you can remember). Also if this has happened to you I advise that you screenshot your posts and if a post gets deleted to then post here with a screenshot so this way the problem can be tracked down.
Also if you aren't the one that posted it, but notice it's gone then feel free to PM or post here.
Also if a post that's reported here was actually deleted, then I'll try and figure out why it was deleted.
Also this is mainly a heads up (as I am unable to confirm or deny this existing) along with procedure just in case this is occurring.

Just a heads up
Would tools that automatically delete posts be a possibility as well, or would the logs record that?
(Ex. tools that check to ensure users have validated their e-mail, tools that might remove comments they deem "spam", haywire tools not working for their intended purpose, etc.?)

There are no tools that automatically remove posts, the anti-spam plugin that's used can't even auto delete posts.
