To everyone who joined these forums at some point, and got discouraged by the negativity and left after a while (or even got literally scared off): I'm sorry.
I wasn't good enough at encouraging people to be kinder, and removing people who refuse to be kind. Encouraging people is hard, and removing people creates conflict, and I hate conflict... so that's why I wasn't better at it.
I was a very, very sensitive teen. The atmosphere of this forum as it is now, if it had existed in 1996, would probably have upset me far more than it would have helped.
I can handle quite a lot of negativity and even abuse now, but that isn't the point. I want to help people. I want to help the people who need it the most, and I want to help people like the 1996 version of me.
I'm still figuring out the best way to do that, but as it is now, these forums are doing more harm than good, and I can't keep running them.
Thank you to the few people who have tried to understand my point of view so far. I really, really appreciate you guys. You are beautiful people.
Everyone else: If after everything I've said so far, you still don't understand my motivations, I think it's unlikely that you will. We're just too different. Maybe someday in the future it might make sense, but until then, there's no point in arguing about it. I don't have the time or the energy for arguing anymore. I will focus my time and energy on people who support me, and those who need help.

They're not Christians; they believe in a different god. The god of hate, they say - how disturbed must they be to believe in such a thing? It is as though they are worshiping the devil by giving him god-like attributes.
I am ashamed of them, but I pray that they will one day find the wisdom they are desperately lacking and stop picketing military funerals.

Westboro can go suck the big one as far as I'm concerned. Even the KKK hates them (though mostly for their anti-America message).
What really pissed me off was back in 2011 they were threatening to protest at a Catholic girl's funeral. This girl was shot and killed in the 2011 Tuscon shootings. How fucking distasteful. I swear if they did that they would've gotten their asses beat.

I call them the Westboro Baptist Judizers. They thoroughly use the Old Testament as evidence when the Old Testament has been replaced by Law of Jesus. I hope they gain wisdom, as God hates nobody.

They identify as Christian, their discrimination is based around the bible.
They're Christians.
However, I will give you that Jesus was very accepting and they are not strictly following the teachings of jebus

The teachings are the important part. As KFC said, Christ taught that the bigoted and exclusive nature of the Old Testament was to be removed and replaced with the New. He told us to walk in love and not in hate.
The Westboro Baptist Church claims to spread the word of God, but all they have to say is that He hates a group of people. There are many such denominations that preach that God is capable of hatred and is prejudiced against sinners (whether their sins are real or invented), but they are dismissing the truth: God is love, and He loved us so much that He sent His Son to die so that we may live. To bear bigotry and prejudice openly is to deny the teachings of Jesus Christ; the WBC are not Christians.
