CPU's

What Intel CPU should I get:
i3
i5
i7

also list the model and architecture. This is mainly for gaming, also keep in mind I don't have much money so I'm looking for:
-Good Price (Probably not going to be able to go over $200, if that)
-Good Lifetime

Pretty Much my only signature...I'm mainly a lurker....you can find me on the IRC (or on DnE and their IRC).

RE: CPU's

i5 rather than i7... games don't really use that many threads. Or AMD if you don't need the fastest.

I bought a decent AMD(I think. Yet to test it to the limit).

Then again it's superior to the previous stock CPU(which I did push to the limit), meaning this will probably be far better.

I would buy AMD if not for the horrible heatsink

My Intel came with a horrible (stock) heatsink too. Totally recommend watercoolers... Antec Kuhler or similar.

My heat sink looks decent.

I should just remember to clean the dust out of the fan every now and then(more than once did my previous one cause computer not to work because of all the dust clogged in the fan).

I want to jury-rig a water-cooling system though. Just so I have something to do...
