Hey everyone. This pain started during third period (around 9am). For breakfast i had a greek yogurt and some milk. The pain is still as strong as it was when i first felt it. It goes away for about a minute then comes back. It keeps doing that. I am also gagging a little when i feel this pain. I looked up food poisoning symptoms and some of mine came up. What do you guys think i should do?

I looked it up and as i said in my post, a lot of my symptoms point towards food poisoning. But the yogurt didn't go bad at all. I just want opinions on what to do and what you guys think it is.

If you're in school, you might go to see the school nurse (if you have one.)

There are some things you can take for stomach aches. It could be gas, which is also something there are some over-the-counter meds for. If it's full-on food poisoning, that's another story, but I'm guessing that's not the case (still, you might want to talk to a nurse.)

Did you eat anything you're not used to eating over the past 12-24 hours?

No Xcriteria not at all. I love greek yogurt. The flavor was Tropical Fruit, and there was pineapple in the yogurt. I'm not allergic to pineapple.

Food poisoning can happen really unexpectedly. I had it once, didn't eat anything bad to my knowledge, but apparently I did. Don't worry it usually only lasts a day.

If it lasts longer you probably have the stomach flu. And if that's the case, just drink a ton of water (It'll help with the dry heaving if you start vomiting) and crackers.

And then there's gas, that will usually pass within a few hours.

And of course, stress. Stress definitely can cause stomach aches and fuck they can be horrible.

Have someone check if you have a fever and lie down for a bit.

I am under a lot of stress currently (in school right now, typing this up). But in case this matters, i only got about 2 hours of sleep last night.

Stomach flu is unpleasant. I'd advise eating some salty crackers and getting a good (not too much, not too little) amount of fluids.

Yech. That's a bad one.

I once had really bad food poisoning but was rescued by Pepto Bismol(albeit after hours of feeling like crap). After that experience, I became a fan of Pepto Bismol(and further so after other experiences). The poisoning pretty much had me puking every half an hour or so, even when there was nothing left to puke.

2 weeks ago i had this excruciating stomach pain starting in the morning at like 5 AM, it kept getting worse and the pain would come in waves. It didn't feel like the kind of pain you get when you're bloated or what have you, it was more than that. I ended up going to the hospital where they ran a bunch of tests, only to tell me that they had no idea what was wrong and to just go home and come back if it happens again :/

Hasn't happened since but that was the worst pain I've experienced thus far in my life.

They gave me some hydromorphone for the pain so that alone was worth the hospital visit.. I was there for a damn hour before they did though, literally unable to move due to the pain.

I've experienced extremely horrible stomach pain, thinking it was appendicitis. As I walked over to the wellness center in my college, I passed a shitton of gas. The pain disappeared. Needless to say, I felt quite embarrassed.

I got the stomach flu (scientific name is gastroenteritis) from an outbreak at my school. Some parent made his kid go to school with it. Ugg, parents.
