To everyone who joined these forums at some point, and got discouraged by the negativity and left after a while (or even got literally scared off): I'm sorry.
I wasn't good enough at encouraging people to be kinder, and removing people who refuse to be kind. Encouraging people is hard, and removing people creates conflict, and I hate conflict... so that's why I wasn't better at it.
I was a very, very sensitive teen. The atmosphere of this forum as it is now, if it had existed in 1996, would probably have upset me far more than it would have helped.
I can handle quite a lot of negativity and even abuse now, but that isn't the point. I want to help people. I want to help the people who need it the most, and I want to help people like the 1996 version of me.
I'm still figuring out the best way to do that, but as it is now, these forums are doing more harm than good, and I can't keep running them.
Thank you to the few people who have tried to understand my point of view so far. I really, really appreciate you guys. You are beautiful people.
Everyone else: If after everything I've said so far, you still don't understand my motivations, I think it's unlikely that you will. We're just too different. Maybe someday in the future it might make sense, but until then, there's no point in arguing about it. I don't have the time or the energy for arguing anymore. I will focus my time and energy on people who support me, and those who need help.

Hello
Since the inevitable video game/music genre/interests question with "Sexy Man Gwedin" is coming up, I might as well answer in this post.
I like some rap songs. Small talk over music is usually boring so I won't expand this answer.
Recently I've developed an interest over political leftism and individuals in philosophy and said leftism though I often procrastinate on reading anything by them or about them (unless if it's a post on RevLeft, then maybe). My views are far from being solidified or consistent, but before that, some months ago, I was a pretty certain social democrat (No, I still didn't like Obama then.).
As for video games, I'm what some SC4 fanatics would want to crucify, preferably with my "virgin" mother and the townsfolk watching and all, the works, you know. I have several SimCity games, including SC Creator (First one I've played), SC4 (It's an OK game), the infamous SC Societies (I've played it for a pretty long time until I got the game which I am just about to name), and SimCity (The new one, which everyone complained about everything).
Prior to its release, it seemed to me like I was one of the very few people who knew it wouldn't live up to the hype (considering how almost all commentary on all social networks/blogs/etc made it the law to pray 10 times a day for the 2nd coming of the supposed SC equivalent to Jebus or else you would be gloriously Internet-executed for blasphemy) and would in fact be terrible. Ironically, I would happen to be one of the few now that enjoys that game.
Looking back at what I typed, I don't mean to intentionally make this my "standard" style for posting considering how I've had crappy experiences with users on other forums who are even more articulate and formal and knowledgeable in all their posts, thus being total dicks to me and influencing the "casual-style" posters to ally with the rivaling intellectual to gang-shit on my reputation and posts on a daily basis, so I'm alllll cassualllll nowww, mannnnnn.
Besides that, I've been to this forum literally just several times in the last few years (early as 2010/11, I believe) but I never joined since I was just absolutely horrible at making posts without being ridiculed (which I sometimes deserved in the years 2012-13, considering an issue I had which I will specify in the next sentence, though I kind of wanted respectful discussion rather an mockery/sarcasm by a user or two). As recently as a year ago, I was terribly antisemitic and accepted racist conspiracy theories, though I never got to be as in /pol/-level, now that's just really shitty.
As for school, well, something-something, da rools r 4 fools, teenage hormones, rebel with a cause this time 'cause the religion of Marxism gave my life purpose (Or rather, I gave myself purpose. Thanks, Jean-Paul Sartre.) when obnoxious bourgeois atheism that was anti-worker in many cases failed to do so alone, though I do note that as of yet I have an infantile ("infantile" not being in the context of Lenin's polemic against left communists) understanding of something so encompassing as Marxism (and anarchism as well) and its adherents and influence, and that school here just fucking sucks.

Don't worry, I really hate 4chan and its "culture" (A bit too self-crediting for them, right?) as well due to my overall shitty experience there (With bigotry being the worst case (da gay feminist jooish muslim illuminati freemason communist bankers want all white people dead!!!! The reason why I decided to join today was because I was watching a short Emma Goldman documentary and I Googled something she said, with these forums happening to be one of the results. I looked through the thread and I was surprised how relatively tolerant it was to leftism, so I did some thinking and joined this forum.
