So I made a mistake this morning. I slept past my alarm and missed the bus. Woopdee-fucking-do. I rarely make this mistake, I usually barely catch the bus, but this time I slept past that.

My dad tells me to go to my neighbors and ask for a ride. None of the neighbors I know answer the door. He calls my aunt, no answer from her.

SO MY DAD CALLS A CAB. Then he tells me I have to pay for it.

What!? I'm not paying to go to school. Never mind that, I'm not paying to go somewhere I hate that will be a horribly under-productive way to spend that money. He's claiming that because of a mistake I have to take responsibility and pay for it. No. Nope. Not happening. The guy called from my driveway twice. Didn't answer. He definitely left by now. Now my dad gets to pay for me not going because he didn't think it would be absolutely fucking ridiculous and insane to call a fucking CAB then tell ME to pay for it.

I'm in rage.

Lolwut? I know I wouldn't pay for that shit. Kids get to school late every day. I don't see any of them paying for it. It's not worth paying a fucking penny over any way.

I remember one time in 5th grade the goddamn bus came late. I remember waking up and going out and thinking the bus would be by there, but it wasn't. I was wondering, "what the hell?" and thought school was cancelled. I played some Halo 3 and then the bus all of a sudden arrives, and my mom warns me to go outside, but by the time I get outside, the bus has just left, and I see it driving away. I was pissed but happy at the same time because I wasn't going to school and it was not my fault.

My favorite arcade games were the shooting ones.

I remember one time I was playing some sniper game, and next thing I knew, a group of kids had formed taking turn as pairs with one spotter and one shooter(the way real snipers work). I guess after helping out the kid who played after me, I caused it.

I also sometimes played racing games. And there was a star wars game where the first mission was blowing up Death Star 1, then a mission on Hoth, followed by that jungle planet. I never really beat it but I got pretty far.

That was made by Bungie, IIRC. 343 Studios took over and produced Halo 4, which was dog shit compared to everything else (even Reach).

I need to get the PC version of Combat Evolved...

I was glad the PC version ran with relative ease. I was afraid I'd have to set everything at the lowest possible setting for it to work.

It turns out it's a bit more like half-life 1.

You don't owe shit considering you're not the one who called the cab, your dad did. Unless there is some expense for the cab driver arriving, no one owes anything until they accept the transportation. Otherwise, it's still on your dad for wasting his time and gas.
