I feel like now is a good time to introduce Stephen to my father.

Meet my father. Male, mid forties. Long hair, greying. Beer belly. Alcoholic.
Finished highschool. Graduated mind you. In fact, he even graduated early. Well he'd had a pretty good job right? I mean, according to your logic. it's not like he's been sitting on his ass for 40 something years getting occasional odd jobs, mooching off my mother, drinking his life away.... Oh.. he is? Yikes.. Guess school doesn't equal good job, good life.

Now you may say "oh well did he go to college" no.

But my mom did. And yes, she does have a job! She's what's called a "medical lab technician." Have you ever had to pee in a cup? Or get your blood drawn? Well, she's the person who does all the fancy shmancy shit that figures out how to tell if you're fucked up. Surely she must be paid well!
