To everyone who joined these forums at some point, and got discouraged by the negativity and left after a while (or even got literally scared off): I'm sorry.

I wasn't good enough at encouraging people to be kinder, and removing people who refuse to be kind. Encouraging people is hard, and removing people creates conflict, and I hate conflict... so that's why I wasn't better at it.

I was a very, very sensitive teen. The atmosphere of this forum as it is now, if it had existed in 1996, would probably have upset me far more than it would have helped.

I can handle quite a lot of negativity and even abuse now, but that isn't the point. I want to help people. I want to help the people who need it the most, and I want to help people like the 1996 version of me.

I'm still figuring out the best way to do that, but as it is now, these forums are doing more harm than good, and I can't keep running them.

Thank you to the few people who have tried to understand my point of view so far. I really, really appreciate you guys. You are beautiful people.

Everyone else: If after everything I've said so far, you still don't understand my motivations, I think it's unlikely that you will. We're just too different. Maybe someday in the future it might make sense, but until then, there's no point in arguing about it. I don't have the time or the energy for arguing anymore. I will focus my time and energy on people who support me, and those who need help.

I don't remember the last commercial I've seen on TV. Actually, I've totally abandoned TV. Now it's Netflix and the internet(to find other movies/films that can't be found on Netflix).

Course I still have the actual TV, which we hook up a laptop to for watching from the TV set.

I was watching some online TV, and I know exactly what you're talking about. The pseudo-ghetto kids who pretend to be ghetto and stuff like that with their design t-shirts from K-Mart?

I generally HATE commercials and media which have middle to upper class children trying to imitate fashion styles and what not that are urban and hip-hop. I'd like to see a lot of these people put in the ghetto to see what it's really like.

As a general rule as well, many people (at my school, though probably at your school too) do NOT buy their clothes from K-Mart, especially considering the association of being lower-class. Considering my school is filled with Abercrombie/Hollister snobs and swag idiots/fake gangstas, it's not a good idea.

Exactly. The female "singing" about the shoes? Search "K Mart commercial 2013" in Youtube and you'll see it.
Those are the type of people at my school. The one's that pose ghetto but could afford $300 phones and $100 jeans. They wear a surfer brand and skinny jeans.

Rich people are weird. A lot of them seem to have a fetish for trying to seem part of a very low socio-economic class. I wonder if slave owners had their slaves chain and whip them for sexual relief 0_o

I recall something about victorian period gentleman waltzing around as bums or tramps for fun...but my memory is hazy there so I cant guarantee accuracy. I do recall well that victorian upperclass looked all proper but sure did enjoy their orgies :|
