BURN THEIR HOMES! SALT THEIR FIELDS! TAKE THEIR WIVES! EAT...THEIR...CAKE!

We are growing to be a pretty stupid species. Such exam-based life success/intelligence things didn't become so important till only mid-20th century(along with getting a graduate education, or even college education, or even finishing high school in compulsory schooling). It's not technology making us dumber, it's us covering up our stupidity by pointing fingers at technology. It's not that hard being smart, seeing that we're naturally inclined to observe and learn.

And I've solved it!

The problem is: HUMANS! Yes. Humans. Like everything else this despicable species gets involved in, we've managed massively F*k up everything we've got too involved in, either in the immediate short-term or the upcoming long-term.

We're now making ourselves stupid. I think we deserve a pat on the back.

I tend to dwell on the positives humans provide as opposed to the negative. We can blame ourselves for everything if we wish, but only for the evolution of forward progress should the recognition of negative blame be condoned. Otherwise its no good, and can hold us back.

I don't see any positives in humanity. There will always be a smart few that pull us forward but a horde of dumb to drag us back.

But I'm not saying that humanity is incapable. It's my belief that humanity has just failed to progress in an important area. We developed advanced technology, yet neglected to develop ourselves as people. If people were to realize how primitive we are within, they can concentrate on repairing and advancing ourselves to meet our level of technology. We're materialistically progressed, yet mentally backwards.

People still blame ideas and religions for violent behaviors, behaviors that are common along the history of humanity. Religions and ideas have nothing to do with the acts, humanities insistence on finding a plausible excuse for their primitive barbarism rather than seeing it for what it truly is still follows us to this day. I don't hate humanity but I believe that most of humankind does not realize their own nature, that they refuse to confront themselves for what they truly are then to improve themselves.

I remember watching a video on youtube where Michio Kaku said something similar, where we're all born geniuses but because of society, we're squandered of it from birth.
