What to do while skipping class.

I have a class first period on Mondays and Tuesdays that i have already failed. And by a wide margin. I'm talking by like 40 points. I currently have a 20. And i have too many absences this year without having to have an attendance appeal. So there is no point to going to that class. And i can't get a pass to go to the library unless i want to get on an IEP which isn't happening.

I'm probably just going to bum around town at this point. Reading, Listening to music, Playing iPod games, and wait for first period to be over.

That sucks, whenever I skip and I can't stay home, I just go to the library downtown and read.
But like you said, that's not really an option.
I also just go for a walk and listen to music.

I did it once, I hid in the restroom with my friend just talking about how terrible religious studies was.

Go to the movies, chill at a friends house and play video games, get stoned.
When I skipped school sometimes me and my friend would go to this nature preserve by my school to get high and walk around in nature. It was pretty fun. Other times we would just take the bus downtown and dick around at the waterfront, go into shops, or just sit and look out on the bay.

sleep, explore the city (if you can), smoke weed. listen to music or read. talk to interesting strangers or go on reddit.

Sometimes you might encounter someone who confronts you about school(if you look young enough). An old lady I saw on the street once threatened to call the police because she thought I was skipping school(Our school ended a earlier than other schools in our district because we started earlier). I just told her I go to a private school and we closed so she asked me the name of the school and threatened to keep an eye on me.

Our school got a new system that calls, e-mails, texts, and does anything it can to contact your parents if you are absent, it even calls when your absences are excused, so I couldn't ditch, and if I did I would fail because the teachers are only allowed to give you your missed work if your absence is excused. The weirdest part about this set-up is that I live in a small town and my school is really crappy, I don't even understand why they try.

I thought that's how most schools did it?(my school does phone call and email, but usually they need more evidence before marking you as "skipping". Usually they just put down unexcused absent)

You should just hang out in the mornings and take your time. If you seriously refuse to go in for the class, why rush? However, if your parents care if you miss the class then you should go in for it. My high school calls my 'rentals on days that I miss or even if a period was missed.

Unfortunately, our school ID's have period numbers on them, so students can't skip and go to the lunch room or the library and use a computer because they require you to scan it through a card scanner (sucks..doesn't it...). So the only times I skip is either my first or last period.
