To everyone who joined these forums at some point, and got discouraged by the negativity and left after a while (or even got literally scared off): I'm sorry.
I wasn't good enough at encouraging people to be kinder, and removing people who refuse to be kind. Encouraging people is hard, and removing people creates conflict, and I hate conflict... so that's why I wasn't better at it.
I was a very, very sensitive teen. The atmosphere of this forum as it is now, if it had existed in 1996, would probably have upset me far more than it would have helped.
I can handle quite a lot of negativity and even abuse now, but that isn't the point. I want to help people. I want to help the people who need it the most, and I want to help people like the 1996 version of me.
I'm still figuring out the best way to do that, but as it is now, these forums are doing more harm than good, and I can't keep running them.
Thank you to the few people who have tried to understand my point of view so far. I really, really appreciate you guys. You are beautiful people.
Everyone else: If after everything I've said so far, you still don't understand my motivations, I think it's unlikely that you will. We're just too different. Maybe someday in the future it might make sense, but until then, there's no point in arguing about it. I don't have the time or the energy for arguing anymore. I will focus my time and energy on people who support me, and those who need help.

What does it mean when someone says...
...they need their space but they're still your friend? This is an actual question I'm not just complaining. Is it like a nice way of saying go away? Yeah I know this is a dumb question but I honestly just don't know what it means when someone says this.

What does it mean when someone says...
Me: *walks over to where my friend is sitting*
Friend: "No I need my space."
Me: "Did something happen?"
Friend: "No I just need to be alone during lunchtime. I'm still your friend. I'm just going to have to sit by myself during lunches now. I need my space. It's complicated."
Me: "Um, ok." *starts to walk away*
Friend: "Where are you going?"
Me: "Bathroom."
Friend: "But.. uh... that's where I was going. To be alone."
Me: "Fine." *walks back into cafeteria and sits at a table*
Friend: *follows me back into cafeteria and sits at a different table*

What does it mean when someone says...
And I just realized something. My friend is a girl and I'm a guy, so we would be going to different bathrooms. Why did she say she was going to the same place as me?
Sorry I'm just so confused right now...

Maybe your friend has a problem yet wants to tell someone but then again doesn't.
It's a girl thing. They never make sense. Even I, prime example of a living contradiction, fail to understand women and their strange way of thinking.
Good luck. You should probably squeeze whatever she has on her mind out(or at least probe to see if she intends to ever say anything).

She's not really making sense. Could you get her to elaborate? I know I do weird shit when something's bugging me, so it's entirely possible something is bugging her.

She keeps saying "I need to be alone for personal reasons. You wouldn't understand." Ouch. Yet when I ask her if I did something wrong, she says no. So I guess something happened that she's not comfortable sharing...
I just hope she doesn't go back to the times where she decided to "become a loner" and she wouldn't talk to anybody and dude it was awful... I would just sit in my room and stare at my phone all day hoping she would talk to me... and as corny as it might sound, I need her... 
I just hope I didn't do something to push her away. Like on Valentine's Day...
Her: Happy Valentine's Day
Me: Awwwww thanks you too 
Her: Lol thanks....I think? Anyway....I miss my ex boyfriend.
Me: That sucks
Her: Yeah I gtg...
Me: Bye
Me: *listens to valentine's day by linkin park for the rest of the day (despite the name it's a sad song) and sits in my house alone*
Yeah she didn't talk to me for a while after that... and I have a feeling it's not just because she was missing her ex boyfriend...
Anyway bottom line is: she won't talk to me. And it sucks. And I miss her.

Write her a note and explain that you're worried about her and that you miss talking to her, hanging out, etc, whatever you guys used to do.
I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess that something relationship-related happened that she isn't handling well, and maybe she thinks that she needs to keep herself away from other people because either
1) she thinks she'll be bad company or something
2) or she needs to ponder a lot of stuff.
If it's #1, convince her she's wrong.
If #2, just give her the space she wants.
There may be other possibilities that I'm not thinking of right now.
