RIP School Survival Forums
August 2001 - June 2017
The School Survival Forums are permanently retired. If you need help with quitting school, unsupportive parents or anything else, there is a list of resources on the Help Page.
If you want to write about your experiences in school, you can write on our blog.
To everyone who joined these forums at some point, and got discouraged by the negativity and left after a while (or even got literally scared off): I'm sorry.
I wasn't good enough at encouraging people to be kinder, and removing people who refuse to be kind. Encouraging people is hard, and removing people creates conflict, and I hate conflict... so that's why I wasn't better at it.
I was a very, very sensitive teen. The atmosphere of this forum as it is now, if it had existed in 1996, would probably have upset me far more than it would have helped.
I can handle quite a lot of negativity and even abuse now, but that isn't the point. I want to help people. I want to help the people who need it the most, and I want to help people like the 1996 version of me.
I'm still figuring out the best way to do that, but as it is now, these forums are doing more harm than good, and I can't keep running them.
Thank you to the few people who have tried to understand my point of view so far. I really, really appreciate you guys. You are beautiful people.
Everyone else: If after everything I've said so far, you still don't understand my motivations, I think it's unlikely that you will. We're just too different. Maybe someday in the future it might make sense, but until then, there's no point in arguing about it. I don't have the time or the energy for arguing anymore. I will focus my time and energy on people who support me, and those who need help.

Mai Friday rant
This rant was created with my new rant 2.0 technology
Rant begin:
So my day begun boring, and it felt like waking up at 6:00 was a chore.
At 1st period gym, my enemy Christain Wagner(d), kept taking our game of kickball too seriously, and kept on raging, and complained that, I, the best kicker in da world(True story), got us out, maybe Zico, the best catcher in the world, got us out.
2nd period, science, I only wrote s**t down, while my group was mixing all the chemicals, VERY EDMUCATIONAL.
3rd period math, boring, got homework. (Only our math teacher gives us math homework on Fridays)
I don't have to say much about lunch.
4th period social studies, another boring note taking day.
5th period, Family Consumer Science was the only good part of my day, I learned how to make pillows, and stitch on buttons, and my friend Travis, as usual, was frustrated, on the brink of explosion.
6th period, OP, we did map testing, got a 226 on reading (one of the
best scores in my whole class), another good part of my day.
7th period, English, was boring, and my teacher was complaining I kept annoying the crap out of this girl that sits next to me, with good reason, she is super annoying, and talkative.
End of Friday.
Rant end
(Rant 2.0 predicts you will finish reading this in a minute)
(Rant 2.0 rage level: 77%)

They don't teach you how to be rich or how to be poor. They don't teach you how to walk away from someone you don't love any longer. They don't teach you how to know what's going on in someone else's mind. They don't teach you what to say to someone who's dying. They don't teach you anything worth knowing."-Neil Gaimen

I'm not feeling the rage.
Friday is usually my favorite day. I get to leave earlier than usual(I leave around 2pm on other days, while the rest of my class gets out 2:50pm and the rest of the school at 3:30pm). Fridays however, I get out at 11:30. Pretty awesome.

My sensors only pick up 80% and above. (I also only feel the cold at 10 degree Fahrenheit but that's a whole other topic)
